A BEAUTIFUL LOOK...

- This play of shadows and light, which I love, reminds me of a coworker... Beatriz. She also loves photos, but she's not much of a fan...

This is a set of 5 over-sized postcards of some of my visual journal pages. Each glossy postcard represents a journal spread, and is 8.5" x 5.5". The printing quality is so good, you can read my writing and feel what I was feeling when I created the journal page. Keep it for yourself for art inspiration, or mail it. The back is blank, except for my information, so you can write a note and address it.

Bom é o mesmo da Lea só que eu tirei aquela welcome ridicula e coloquei uma imagem da Lea achei muito melhor.

***Non-spoiler review***

Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Go see it! Any SpongeBob fan out there will not be disappointed! This film brings back all the humor, characters, and even more from the old SpongeBob seasons. Tom Kenny, Bll Faberbakke, Mr. Lawrence and all the voice actors from the show come back with their fantastic voices. Fantastic visuals, great humor, Strong characters and more!

Story:

The film is about this Pirate who steals a magic book and changes the story in Bikini Bottom, Plankton tries to steal the formula and SpongeBob and the gang try to stop him but the formula disappears and it wasn't Plankton's fault but Mr. Krabs and the whole Bikini Bottom don't believe him. Now SpongeBob and Plankton have to work as a team to fix everything. Soon to come as super hero team and receive the formula back from the Pirate.

Exciting film with amazing animation and CGI effects. I rate this film a 9/10.

Want to know why? read the spoilers section

****Spoilers****

Story:

Okay the whole story of the film begins with this Pirate named BurgerBeard the Pirate played by Antonio Banderas and he does a fantastic job playing this character bringing much more humor to the film. He steals this magic book and starts to read a story and the story is about Plankton stealing the Krabby Patty formula once again, He tries to steal it but is fighting with SpongeBob for it then it suddenly disappears and Mr. Krabs and the citizens of Bikini Bottom think he stole it, but since SpongeBob is the only one who actually knows Plankton is innocent he helps him. This is where the film shines in SpongeBob and Plankton's relationship as they bring a lot of humor and caring towards each other and it is great. They build a time machine and accidently break it to go into this place where a magic Dolphin is and they get this Magic Dolphin fired and they go back to Bikini Bottom to fix everything. Spongeob now knows what is going on and him, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Plankton go to the surface the get back the Formula. The Magic Dolphin thanks SpongeBob for making his life better and rewards them by helping them go to the surface and they do explain why they can breathe underwater since the Dolphin is magic! So all the people bitching about them breathing underwater, THEY DO EXPLAIN THAT! They turn into super heroes and stop Burgerbeard the Pirate, destroy the book and everything is peaceful in Bikini Bottom and everyone has Krabby Patties again.

When I said they brought back the old humor from the old seasons I really meant it, this movie had me laughing with almost every joke in it. This film really surprised me as I thought there would be more live action in the film than 2-d cartoon, A big majority is flat cartoon and the animation is fantastic and is great to look at! Amazing visuals, and everything. Right now I am laughing at everyone who thought this movie was gonna suck well SUCK IT because this film is epic! and is defiantly worth every penny! See it! for Any SpongeBob fan or Nickelodeon fan out there. Nickelodeon really redeemed themselves for this amazing movie. I honestly would have preferred a better ending but whatever. Is this movie better than the first one? Honestly to me it is better because the first one was a little too dark and it underused major characters to me. And this is a sequel to it and you should really give it a chance. So with that, I give it a 9/10 Awesome movie, stunning visuals, Fantastic humor, and a really Incredible film for everyone to enjoy I highly recommend it to anyone. By the way there is a cameo from Nicepeter and EpicLloyd from Epic Rap Battles of History! and they have a pretty badass song at the end!

Also there is a slight end credits scene so make sure to stay for that!

If you made it this far and actually read all this than thank you and tell me what you think of this movie? I just wanted to give out my thoughts since this is a great film.

Get ready to see some custom minifigures from me, from this movie soon. :)

UPDATE!: I just saw the movie in 3-D and it looks incredible from the flat animation cartoon to the awesome CGI effects and I recommend you see it in 3-D if you can!

In a gallery pulsing with color and cultural commentary, this artwork by Brazilian street art duo Os Gêmeos explodes with fantasy, geometry, and narrative mystery. Their signature yellow-faced character leans out over a surreal topography of rainbow-striped peaks — a world that seems at once invented and all too real. The figure gazes toward a small spotted dog perched atop a triangular summit, evoking an enigmatic moment of quiet connection amid chaos.

Os Gêmeos (Otávio and Gustavo Pandolfo) are known for infusing Brazilian street life, folklore, and personal memory into vividly imaginative compositions. This piece continues their tradition of layering personal iconography with universal archetypes. The color palette is wildly kaleidoscopic — candy-pink skies and rainbow mountains set against a meticulously patterned backdrop featuring stylized faces in earth-tone halos. That wallpaper is an homage to Lady Pink, the pioneering street artist whose portrait illustrations helped redefine the visual identity of women in graffiti culture.

There’s a tension in the scale: massive geometric cones stretch the length of the composition, dwarfing the small but emotionally resonant figures. The dog's presence, almost toy-like in scale but elevated in status, grounds the work in narrative intimacy. Are they friends? Strangers? Guardians of some hidden story? Os Gêmeos invite the viewer to fill in the blanks — a hallmark of their dreamlike storytelling.

The 3D-like illusion of the peaks adds architectural depth to what would otherwise be a flat image, further emphasizing the boundary-pushing ways in which street artists engage space. Here, illusionistic geometry serves both as theatrical stage and psychological terrain.

Installed as part of the Hirshhorn Museum’s “Revolutions: Art from the Hirshhorn Collection 1860–1960” anniversary exhibit — which extends into a dialogue with contemporary artists — this work provides an energetic rupture from the historical pieces on view. But rather than breaking the narrative, it extends it. Os Gêmeos’ contributions to modern visual language echo the expressive boldness of early abstractionists and Dadaists, while folding in decades of street-based activism and cultural reclamation.

From São Paulo to Washington D.C., the influence of hip-hop, graffiti, Indigenous cosmology, and Afro-Brazilian tradition converge here. It’s a joyful, chaotic moment that never loses touch with wonder. And at the Hirshhorn, framed by Lady Pink’s patterned mural in deep plum, rust, and teal, it becomes something more than a painting — it becomes a full-room encounter.

I did many versons of this. But I will only post two. this and the next one. I felt that this looked like a big eye. I really am liking the look here.

Michael and Albert (AJ) Patnode - Artist Statement

Father and son collaboration

Our photographic art is a kinetic motion study, from the results of interacting with my son A.J and his toys.

He was born severely handicapped much like a quadriplegic. On December 17,1998. Our family’s goal has always been to help A.J. use his mind, even though he has minimal use of his body.

A.J. likes to watch lights and movement. One of the few things he can do for himself is to operate a switch that sets in motion lights and various shiny, colorful streamers and toys that swirl above his bed.

One day I took a picture of A.J. with his toys flying out from the big mobile near his bed like swings on a carnival ride. I liked the way the swirling objects and colors looked in the photo.

I wanted to study the motion more and photograph the whirling objects in an artful way, I wanted my son A.J. to be a part of it. After all, he’s the one who inspires me. When A.J. and I work together on our motion artwork, A.J. starts his streamers and objects twirling, I take the photographs.

Activating a tiny switch might not seem like much to some, but it’s all A.J. can do. He controls the direction the mobile will spin, as well as when it starts and stops. The shutter speeds are long, and sometimes, I move the camera and other times I hold it still.

I begin our creation with a Nikon digital camera. Then I use my computer with Photoshop to alter the images into what I feel might be an artistic way. Working with Photoshop, I find the best parts from several images and combine them into the final composite photograph. I consider the finished work to be fine art. The computer is just the vehicle that helps my expressions grow.

I take the photographs and A.J. adds the magic. It’s something this father and son do together. After I’ve taken a few shots, I show him the photos in the back of the camera. When the images are completed, I show him from a laptop. He just looks. He can’t tell me whether or not he likes the images, but he’s always ready to work with me again.

It offers me my only glance into A.J.’s secret world. We’ve built a large collection of images and I hope the motion and color move you as much as they do me.

A.J. inspires me to work harder to understand my life in the areas of art, photography, people, spirituality, and so much more. He truly sets my mind in motion and helps me find the beauty in everyday things.
