Jökulsárlón is a visual dream if you like landscapes or even if you don't....:) The sunset was extremely spectacular that evening and although the wind was too fierce for cool sunset reflection shots, it was still a real nice photographic moment...
Presentation is what it's all about sometimes, and Millennium Gold was the perfect subject to pull this off.

A rare, yellow-capped Wendy's nearby Tysons Corner was built here in 1982 and remains as a window into the company's visual heritage!
While most Wendy's have updated far beyond the classic yellow-plated look, this one is one of many presumably, formerly owned by franchiser DavCo., who notoriously avoided updating restaurants to corporate standards and was involved in a suit in 2015 to relinquish their 152 locations within Maryland, D.C. and Virginia.

As I told you before and in the last post , I do everyday one little illustration . Here you can see the starlings I saw today in front of my window, some flowers and that yellow girl is my vision of Amanda Gorman, the United States' first-ever youth poet laureate. She recited a powerful poem at the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Here are some of her words.:
"When day comes we step out of the shade,
aflame and unafraid,
the new dawn blooms as we free it.
For there is always light,
if only we're brave enough to see it.
If only we're brave enough to be it."

Another one out of my head. Local scenery done from recall - it seems to me to reflect how women supposedly find their way about by using markers in the landscape. I prefer a map meself. Any thoughts? Painted for exhibition at studios.

Les trobades amb la fauna salvatge són sempre màgics, però quan estableixen contacte visual i a més es mostren confiats i no fugen…Això ja és el màxim per a nosaltres com a fotògrafs, i més amb un mussol marí.
The encounters with wild animals are always magical, but when they make eye contact and also show confidence and don’t flee… That’s already the ultimate for us as photographers, especially with a short eared owl.
