Chartreuse, grey, black, etc. Planning to sew the pages. It'll be a hybrid RotD/FTB journal. Will throw in lots of vintage ledger paper and envelopes, of course.
January 24, 2019 Recently Robert said to me, "Your drawings look like your drawers, crowded and confusing." Well. What shall I say? He's right.

Tja. Was soll ich sagen? Er hat Recht.

I got a little behind with sharing my journal spreads. Here is a batch that I just finished photographing. These are from my Composition Notebook Journal using acrylic paints and other collaged items.
Journaling reads: if you never open the door, how do you know what is there? It's time to open the fucking door already. let it all out. even the ugly. I'm done being nice about it.
210112: My dear colleague and friend Annika and I haven't seen each other for ages. So we met quite Corona-compliant for a walk. Nevertheless, we violated the Corona ordinance, because we each drank two small schnapps during the walk: Berliner Luft Peppermint liqueur. Although it is forbidden to drink alcohol in public! 😜 To make matters worse, we also crossed the street once on a red light. 😂 (And don't you dare tell on us afterwards.)

"Bring me the two most precious things in the city," said God to one of his angels.
And the angel brought Him the leaden heart and the dead bird.
"You have rightly chosen," said God, "for in my garden of Paradise this little bird shall sing, for evermore, and in my city of gold the Happy Prince shall praise me."
- Oscar Wilde from his mini fairy tale "The Happy Prince"
One of my favorites :)

The theme for the May Challenge on The Sketchbook Challenge blog is "Can't Resist" - using resists or journalling about something irresistible or both. After a bit of experimenting with resists (see here), I decided to write a list of things I can’t resist – just a small selection, as there are a lot of things which I am not good at resisting.
I used a white Crayola crayon (title and left column) and a clear Sakura Glaze pen (list and right) for my resists, and Neocolor II for the colours. The Crayola didn’t work as well as I’d hoped, though it is more visible in real life, so I tried outlining the title using a white Uniball Signo pen and that helped.
18.3.2020: I just realized how difficult it is for parents to reconcile children and work at the moment. In fact, it is not possible if employers do not react accommodatingly, because in summer at the latest everything falls back to them when parents have used up their annual leave but the children still have summer holidays. Scenarios of abandoned children and parents who offer the hardest currency currently available as payment for childcare have sprung up in my head: TOILETPAPER!
