Two Black Butterlies always want to fly. One day i opened the cage for them. One flew right the way but one stayed. I asked her why, she stared at me and said,“I don’t know where to go,
the cage probably is still my best home”it sounds so scary to step ahead to somewhere you’ve never been but so what? you will never know either if you just stay. Will you Fly or will you stay?

I was having an artistic mini crisis which resulted in comment. When I created the journal I didn't realize the pages would not fit my scanner. The inch or so at the right was sacrificed.
What RED speaks to you? To me, it is solely "Chinese" and "Elegant", the whole concept was came from my favourite Chinese Tea - Ti Guan Yin. You can have a different view for the whole set at
While working in my art journal, I tried 2 pogo print emulsion transfers. I wasn't able to get the blue layer to lift after soaking for 1 hour, so I put the print back in to see if soaking it longer would work. It didn't. I decided after I tried the 2nd time to get the blue off, just to use it for collage. I wonder how other people are able to get the blue layer off?

Do that thing - you know the one I'm talking about. That thing that you really want to do but keep making excuses. It's okay. But why not do it now. There's no better time. Come on, I dare you. Triple dog dare. Do it, do it, do it. I know you want to.
January 26, 2019 We were in the little zoo in Raisdorf near Kiel and had to laugh so much about the little rosy-faced lovebird and the rose-ringed parakeet, who billed and cooed fervently. Every few seconds, the ring-necked parakeet paused, leaning over and raising a wing. As if he wanted to show that he looks great under the wing and also smells good.

I finally get to try a game of karem—I'm no good, but my partner wins the game for us. Bobby drinks from my germy water bottle. Favorite omlate stall is closed on our last day, a lounging group of older men point us to another place. The shawl of the man who directs us falls into the face of his friend, who does nothing. Street scene as we leave: Sandra and Sahar wave goodbye, press wallah, military academy men hanging out, street haircuts and the ever present crows.
