Playing in the sun today exploring my lil monsters.

25 march 2008.

First Andrea found the thermos in the muji store, then I made her show me where they were, then Joel made me go back to the muji store with him so he could buy one.

An actual healing journal entry, aimed at the cycles in our life that we tend to want to ignore.

Blogged Here!

Seems as if you will see many spoiled back pages this year. ;-(

Next year I won't use the Moleskine Pocket Diary again. So I think this is the last one. Searching for alternatives.

Using new pastels in my journal: my Spirit Animal, the Red Fox. Summer of Color 5

Another page inspired by a song. This one by Jewel from her song, Hands:

If I could tell the world just one thing

It would be that we're all OK

And not to worry 'cause worry is wasteful

And useless in times like these

I won't be made useless

I won't be idle with despair

I will gather myself around my faith

For light does the darkness most fear.

In the end only kindness matters

I will get down on my knees, and I will pray

From the mundane to the sublime. During my morning devotions, I suddenly *needed* to do some journaling. I was glad that I had a page prepped already with some collage pieces.

Journaling at the Plough Inn at Clifton Hampden the night before our wedding.

Journaling the journey...to Gratitude.

I made these my first year of teaching to teach decimals to the math class and Spanish numbers and colors to the Spanish class.

I used them every year for the next 23 years, with the same envelops. It was a bit sad throwing them all away on my last day of school, but I did it all except for these that came home and went into my journal. Think of all the hands that have touched these over the years.

Collage, writing thoughts on a page...in my art journal.

Image bought at Art and Soul last year, layers of paint and paper, stamped letters, and journaling.

Yep, more skulls. And wings. New stamps :P

We take part in a 10km-run in Neumünster, the Holstenköstenlauf. That was the first time since approx. 4 weeks that I had really fun while running, and I didn't feel floppy. Nice event!
