We took an extended Weekend to take the girls to Minnesota to visit Amy's parents. On the second day of our visit we went to the Eagle Rescuse center in Wabash and Lark's Toys in Kellogg. I must admit while I thought the toy museum would be weak, it was very cool, and they probably had one of the most beautiful carousels I have ever seen.

Sandhill Cranes at Isenberg Crane Reserve in Lodi, CA.

The Night Mother had a prophetic vision that she had to tell the Guardians of Light.

This place is absolutely amazing. We visited it twice during our time in Sweden. There is more than enough space to stretch ones legs, a lot to see and to learn!

Anti Aircraft guns in a church?

No, organ pipes for outdoor effect!

This church often plays tunes for public that sits outside to enjoy the sound.

Very nice!

Church in Havelte, Drenthe

No. 2 - 4:- Exploring St. Mary's Parish Church, Churchend, Redbourn.

The North Aisle.

- there are three bays of semicircular arches between the North Aisle and the Nave and these are of Norman workmanship. The round pillars of Totternhoe stone have scalloped capitals and facing the nave the arches have 'billet moulding'.

This aisle, named St. John's Aisle because of its Altar dedicated to St. John the Baptist, was rebuilt with larger windows, in 1497. The roof, of the same date, replaced a Norman; 'catslide' roof.

The stained glass of the east window is by Christopher Webb and is a memorial to Dr. Jurin Totton who practised in Redbourn for 38 years from 1924. (We shall be seeing this window in greater detail later.)

The figure of St. Francis of Assisi by the window is by Siegfried Pietzsch.

The Pews.

Nothing is known of the mediaeval pews.

The present Pews,

- dating from 1850, not only covered the nave and both aisles but also the floor of the tower, where a small organ was sited by the west door.

Day 278

Had a nice morning pottering around as Scarlett is off school, then me and the kids popped round to Bilge's to meet Erin, 17 days old a lovely little thing, their new house is lovely. Daz went to the imperial war museum. Managed to pop into see Helen for a cup of tea too. Had a call from an agency saying they would up the money on a job so have an interview on Wednesday which is a bummer as enjoying being off.

If visiting Liverpool a trip to the Anglican Cathedral is a must. They offer trips up the tower which provide stunning views of Liverpool such as this one.

Each one of these bags contains a selection of materials hand-picked for our Visiting library patrons - people who can't physically visit the library. Each person's selection is placed in a labelled bag, loaded on these carts that are rolled into delivery trucks and the bags are delivered to people's doorsteps.

In the British Virgin Islands, one of the more popular attractions on Virgin Gorda is the natural stretch of beach known as The Baths. Huge boulders, haphazardly hurled to their resting places by a prehistoric volcano, form caves, pools and grottoes that give the beach its spectacular beauty. Though challenging to squeeze through in places, the trail leading between the beaches is well worth the 20-minute walk, crawl and climb. (A nearby protected area, in fact, is called Crawl National Park.)

In September 2016 I took my first trip to Point Pleasant to visit the Mothman Museum. I love cryptids so much and always feel on the fence about associating Point Pleasant, WV too heavily with it. 46 people lost their lives on the Silver Bridge on December 15th, 1967 and that event is often connected in lore to the Mothman. I support the local businesses as much as I can when we’re in town (as I’m now married to someone from the area), and while I appreciate how much the festival can do for the local economy and I love Mothman with my whole heart… I’ll always feel sadness for the lives lost during the bridge collapse.
