We stayed a night in Vik, found a really great restaurant in town. While Iceland is too cold to cultivate any grapes for wine, they sure do well at craft beer. Here are some favorite shots from down at the beach!

Nous venions d'avoir une forte averse avant cette photo, avec de fortes rafales de vent. Une petite accalmie s'était installée. Avec mes amis, nous en avons profité pour sortir les boitiers et shooter.

A couple of images taken on Vik Beach, Iceland, looking towards the Reynisdrangar sea stacks.
The few hours I spent on this beach were incredibly windy, which made for some amazing waves, but also a huge challenge in terms of trying to keep filters clean/clear and the camera up right. At one point, I let go of the camera/tripod for about 5 seconds and the wind took it straight over, smashing one of my filters in the process.
I've spent a lot of time procrastinating over whether to process these images in colour or mono, but seem to favour the colour images more at the moment (I'm sure that will change soon!).

This one is from Vik Beach. That morning was very foggy and cloudy and the stacks were almost lost in the mist.
I just realized that I still had a ton of pictures from my trip to Iceland last spring that I had yet to upload. So get ready! ;-)
