A single photo can communicate a mass of valuable information in seconds, hence the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words". Photos are integral to real estate marketing. Every listing has interior and exterior photos which enable buyers to quickly screen properties online but gaining a perspective of a neighbourhood, community and municipality is difficult from the ground. There's no better way to gain this perspective than from a 'birds eye' view using images taken at an 'oblique' angle to the ground from the air. So, on September 25, 2014, ViewPoint Realty, in partnership with Vision Air Services, took to the skies over HRM via helicopter with ace check pilot Fred Shuman and two photographers, Tim L'Esperance of Vision Air (also a pilot) and Sean McMullen, Director of Marketing and photographer at ViewPoint. We took more than 4,000 photos from altitudes ranging from 1,200 to 8,000 feet over the course of three hours. The weather was exceptional and we hope you agree that the resulting photos are too!

This little creature lives in the stones below the top viewpoint and is always whizzing across the road just when our cameras are pointing in the other direction - until the Burnetts visited. They gave us all a lesson in patience and perseverance, got the picture and also another point of debate.........
A flash of greased lightening crossing the road,
We blithely called it a stoat.
It was fast it was lean, a honed killing machine,
Dressed in a chestnut coat.
But, photo -flash’s caught it on digital now
We wonder if it is a weasely?
No black tip to its tail? Perhaps on smaller scale?
The ID doesn’t come easily.
We’ve blown it up and scaled it down
But still we are divided
The majority vote gives it to the stoat
Woat or steasel the others decided.

The ViewPoint in Hamburg's HafenCity presents people with an overview of the city quarter that is currently being restructured and rebuilt.
This lady looks nothing like my grandmother did. Except for how she has one foot daintily pointed out. That gesture made me think of Gramma Mary.
Sunset at one of the important View point @ Valparai...This is a mist spreading zone...So we couldnt spend much time at this place as it was freezing and we had to get down before mist block our way...

If you were standing on this spot, facing the rising sun, you'd be facing the direction of the rotation of the Earth, almost coming into line of sight of the Sun, but due to the atmosphere, the light reaches us before the sun itself is visible.
