Few weeks ago I decided to start a 52 weeks project. I will be uploading the remaining weeks soon, but as starters here you have week 3 #textures.
This picture was taken in Brazil while we were enjoying the warm wind in one of the stalls next to the beach. I saw that the sheet on top of the stall was pulled by the wind and I took a picture of it as part of the textures project.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

One of those spider webs done overnight. When I woke up I had a look at the pipe that feeds the jacuzzi in the cabin and I saw this marvellous spider web, probably unfinished and unspoilt. I hope you like it. Natural light with my 35mm F1.8.

Sunset in Keoladeo Ghana National Park, near Bharatpur, in Rajasthan, India
The bird you see on the tree is an anhinga drying its wing.
This national Park is a man-made and man-managed wetland and one of the national parks of India. The 29 km2 (11 sq. mi) reserve is locally known as Ghana and is a mosaic of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps and wetlands. These diverse habitats are home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and a variety of other invertebrates. The picture of the monitor lizard I posted yesterday was also taken there.^

#SeeTheFunnySide
This month is about seeing the funny side of things. This time Felipe is just exploring the farm going up and down everywhere. Only children would do this as they want to see everything from every possible angle and to test their abilities and limits. During this period also it's normal to not notice that you are just going up and down animal faeces...that in my opinion is funny :) as no one would ever go near that.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

A hazy lazy sunset shot at Dante's View in Death Valley National Park. I call it lazy because not much processing or technique was used to cap the shot. All the elements just came together for a brief moment. The South West desert has some amazing colorful sunsets. Often the colors in the west will start out yellow and orange just after the sunset, and turn magenta and red into the twilight. Most times people leave the area right after the sun sets. But that's when the colors start to fill the sky.
Anyway, according to Wikipedia "Dante's View provides a panoramic view of the southern Death Valley basin. To the south, the Owlshead Mountains, 30 km (19 mi) away can be seen, and to the north, the Funeral Mountains 50 km (31 mi) distant, are visible beyond Furnace Creek. To the West, across Badwater Basin, the Panamint Range rises dramatically to Telescope Peak. To the east is found the Greenwater Range. On very clear days, the highest and lowest points in the contiguous 48 states of the United States: Mount Whitney 4,421 m (14,505 ft) high and Badwater −86 m (−282 ft) can be seen.... Dante's View is named from Dante Alighieri, who wrote the Divina Commedia (Divine Comedy), in which there are described the nine circles of Hell, the seven terraces of Purgatory and the nine spheres of Paradise.
In April 1926, some businessmen of the Pacific Coast Borax Company, informed of the touristic attractiveness of Death Valley, were trying to pick the best view of Death Valley. They had nearly chosen Chloride Cliff in the Funeral Mountains when the Deputy Sheriff of Greenwater, Charlie Brown, carried them from this peak a little distance to the Black Mountains. The group was immediately persuaded and promptly called this point Dante's View".
In October 2015 Death Valley was pounded by heavy rain for several days. According to the National Park Service, it's the worst rain Death Valley had experienced since it was established. In mid Nov 2015 most of the access roads in Death Valley are still shut down and under reconstruction. NPS crews from AZ, CA, and NV are working to restore the roads. The area knows as Badwater Basin is being called it's original name Manly Lake due to the water that covers it.
