5.23 am sunrise from the north east in Brazil. Had woken up very early for this and to make sure the conditions were good as we had a few rainy days and the sky was just full of clouds. I think the results were good.

During St. George (St. Jordi) in Girona, one of the most well-known bridges of the city is full of lovely poems and stories. People leave them there for your enjoyment and I managed to get this take while the bridge was full of people trying to read the content of them.

One of the things I like about travelling is having the opportunity to do some urban photography, which I don't do very much at home. I don't feel very inspired by the buildings where I live but when I am elsewhere, they always seem to be so much more interesting.

#Colours.
This week is about colours and the Buddha Vandana statue in Hyderabad at sunset is one of the most colourful images for this year. There are 4 strong lights that add the colour to the statue and they keep changing colours avertime.

Last minute hike on the Falls Trail with Lori Deiter... Rte 118 Trailhead up to Ozone Falls (Glen Leigh) and back.

Last summer, I was biking along the river and I stopped along the way to take pictures of the sunset. As I was ready to take some shots, this fisherman arrived at the grassy point where you see him. When he saw me, he apologized for being in the way and was going to change location but I told him to stay, that in fact I was glad he was there. I think having this fisherman in the scene adds some life to this sunset image.

Decided to keep pushing this project forward as I commit myself to finish it this year. Soon I'll reach a milestone with 50 portraits and I'll just keep asking people until I get it completed. It will be a nice project to have in my shelf with all my other books.
