This summer has been pretty dry. I would have liked to attempt the Tews or Webster's Falls after some rain. The Upper Chedoke is a beautiful ribbon waterfall with a great year-round flow. I used only a polarizer just enough to slow down the flow. I shot with both digital and film with this composition. In the end, I preferred the film version better.

Still pretty busy now since working and most weekends for shoots and little time for Flickr :(

But I'll try to drop by to say my hellos :)

P.S - I don't post enough of my film work on Flickr but is that a default EXIF setting? Looks funny :P

It's always hard to get this kind of shots as the windows in the church were beaming this strong light on top of the bride. Luckily I exposed correctly to get the bride with the correct exposure, otherwise it would've ruined the shot if I had exposed on the groom.

Delicate Arch Milky Way by Matthew Downing

After a short hike in 100f i was hoping for a good clear attempt at delicate arch with the Milky Way. Needless to say, the clouds set in just after sunset and had the potential of ruining the pre-planning for the shot. Had to wait for nearly 3 hours as they slowly moved past. Sometimes being patience pays off. This is my first attempt at Milky Way photography - enjoy!
