Tverskaya station is where our journey starts and this one has really cool features. The underground here is Moscow is one of the most beautiful in the world. Every station has it's own history and I just loved being there and snap around. Really good photo opportunities and taking pictures down there is a must. Wait for more!.

A view of the Hudson Highlands from the Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary in Garrison, NY.
Taken back in the spring before new growth of the marsh grasses had begun. I was particularly drawn to the lines created by light separation of the low-lying grasses and reflections in the rising tide. It's a place that I often visit but seldom come away with an image that expresses the moment. I was happy with the results of this outing and feel the image represents the true beauty of the Highlands, a place I call home.

One of the kids we found on top of the rocks in the beach in Calella. The moment when you are alone and you need to face your fears to jump. We waited there for a while but the poor boy was too afraid to jump and he never made it. Next time!.

Another of our photo shoots during the session over the weekend. It was an amazing moment as the wind was quite string and the trees behind started to release some of the leaves and I was able to capture it in form of bokeh which gives the picture a nice background. The light conditions were also great and the end result was what I was looking for.

While wondering the Las Vegas Strip, I was drawn to the base of the Eifel tower. Looking up, I decided it was time for me to get some photos from the top. Another lucky day, the time was right, and the sunset put on a show that illuminated the Las Vegas Valley. It was one of those photo moments where everything comes together. The city lights were coming on, the sun was down, and the thin clouds reflected color everywhere, and the ground elements reflected the color of the sky. Looking at the camera screen, I knew this was a rare sunset. And not much post processing was needed to bring out the colors. All I needed to do was bring up the shadow detail, and let the camera and nature do all the work.
A 6 shot panorama of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Today there is no Harmon Tower in the background, as it was demolished due to construction issues. Now the Cosmo towers above the Bellagio and all the City Center buildings in the area. The Cosmo is without a clean history. It, like many other Las Vegas hotels that were built during the 2006 era had defaulted on loans, been sued by investors, and went bankrupt. According to the Wikipedia, this expensive 3.9 billion property was eventually sold for 1 billion by a bank.
Nevertheless, another day of great sunset colors. Shot during twilight with a Lumx LX100 hand held from the Las Vegas Eifel Tower on the Las Vegas Strip. According to the people at the Paris, the Las Vegas Eifel is 1/2 scale of the real deal. The portholes on the tower are about 4"x4", just big enough for small cameras. A DSLR with zoom may not fit. I've seen a few people with large camera bags using their smart phones taking photos. No tripods.

Sundown Wild Forest in the Town of Denning, NY.
Drive along Peekamoose Road in Denning, NY and you will come across many waterfalls and brooks that run into Kanape Brook, which transitions into Rondout Creek. It's a great place for a quick getaway from civilization.

Not in many occasions I have the opportunity to take a picture of one of these amazing frogs known as "perereca" or tree frog from the Hylidae family. These frogs spend most of their time in trees and rarely they descend to the ground.
The size is less than 10cm and there are more than 700 known species of Perereca.
In general, the tree frog is smaller than a toad or a frog and is characterized by their bulging eyes (shifted out). His thin, long legs allow big jumps - some of them reach the mark of 2 meters! The tips of their fingers have a kind of suction cup, which helps when climbing trees.
Can be seen in Argentina and Brazil.

A long exposure from Little Stony Point in Cold Spring, NY.
I was hoping for some low-lying fog on the Hudson as the temperature was predicted to reach the dewpoint, but unfortunately, this didn't happen. As an alternative, I decided to try a long exposure on the Canon 14mm f2.8 II using the Lee SW 150 II filter system. I feel it produced decent results, but it sure takes some time setting up. I may try installing the adapter ring before arriving on location when I think there's a possibility for some long exposure work.

Again one of my photos in one of the most famous bridges in Girona - Eiffel Bridge (Gustave Eiffel just did it before the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris) and this time I managed to play with some light leaks to give the picture a different mood. Always working to display a clear direction in lines and that the model is sharp and well focused.
