i haven't set an alarm since neva was born, not because she wakes up early, but because i'm always excited to get up in the morning & see her!
Marbella pre property video. ( Bit of fun) We seem to spend more time getting properties ready for Video , than the production of the videos themselves. Because at this point feel unable to manipulate the image quite as easily as you can with a still RAW file.

Our apartment requires us to fill out an online form for each cat we have and to send pictures as well. I made a couple of videos, one for Hana and one for Archie, so I could select the best frame. Hana stayed mostly still in the video but multiple videos were required for Archie...

My first snooting experiment. Jordan Cronenweth, cinematographer on Blade Runner, said it's just as important where you don't put light, as it is where you do. Controlling spill was difficult but a good learning experience.
430EX behind the monitor bounced off a sheet of white paper resting on the monitor and snooted with bits lying around like DVD cases. And a 430EX to the left behind subject fired through a 60cm postal tube (resting on a camera tripod) to provide the rim light. Both fired with a 580EXii.
If I had another 430EX, I would've placed it on the right behind the subject.
I was trying to film a swarm of long-tailed tits, the other day, but I lost them. They flew too fast. As my camera was pointing towards the sky, the autofocus couldn't find anything to focus on, until it started focussing on the dust particles on my lens. (My Canon FS100 can focus really close, like a macro lens). It was then, that I decided to purchase one of these nice little blower brushes for camera lenses. As soon as I got home, I tried it out.
I wanted to share this moment with you, so I let the camera record it.
Anyone who has never seen a train born in the wild, *must* watch this video !!!
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...
(yes, I apologize for that danged stem in the foreground, which completely confounded the camera focus at the beginning... I couldn't see it in the viewfinder !!)

I had a lot of fun creating this replica of a typical non-linear video editing software interface for The LEGO Animation book.
I tried to arrange the printed tiles in a way that made a coherent story. In my mind this is a commercial for moose burgers.

Traditional musical instruments in widespread use include the massinko, a one-stringed violin played with a bow; the krar, a six-stringed lyre, played with the fingers or a plectrum; the washint, a simple flute; and three types of drum - the negarit (kettledrum), played with sticks, the kebero, played with the hands, and the atamo, tapped with the fingers or palm. Other instruments include the begena, a huge, multi-stringed lyre often referred to as the Harp of David; the tsinatseil, or sistrum, which is used in church music; the meleket, a long trumpet without fingerholes, and the embilta, a large, simple, one-note flute used on ceremonial occasions.
