We were off to a '90s themed party. Could we find a horrendous bargain at Value Village?

My dining room chandelier is a great example of value. Not only is it achromatic to begin with but putting the light source of the window into the photo we can see just how effective the shading and tones can represent three dimensional space. The curves of the lamps and arms that connect all work together to create surfaces that will display many different tones on the full spectrum of black and white shades.

As an element of art, value refers to the visible lightness or darkness a color.

The Power of Strategic Value

These shoes have many different shades and tints of lightness and darkness. You can easily see the different light and dark areas of the shoes.

I want to raise my family in this great city. It is a challenging proposition against the curve, so I use signposts for inspiration.

$9.00 for this amount of LEGO is a sweet deal. Anyone happen to find the other half of the hull?

The image highlights value because it has both very dark and very light value, because of the sunshine brightly highlighting the cinder block and brick and the shadows leaving the rest of the image very dark.

Jim Kirchhoff, General Manager of Hope Water & Light was the speaker for the Hope Kiwanis Club this week. Kirchhoff noted this is National Drinking Water Week and offered a presentation on the value of tap water.
