1. This image investigates the element of value by showing the transition of colour in the sky caused by light.
2. The subject matter of the photograph is the sky. More specifically the changing colours of the clouds cause by the lighting. I approached my subject from a point on the ground where i could get the most interesting clouds with the highest level of change in colour.
3. The most visually striking aspect of this photo was the bright blue sky contrasting against the white/grey clouds.
4. if i could shoot this photograph again i would do it so the light shines through the clouds to make my image more interesting and take it on an open field with no interference.
1) This is value. the brightness of the sun contrasts with the leafs.
2) this is a bush and the sun. they are vibrant and visually interesting. i angled myself slightly away from the sun but still facing it and shot through a bush of brightly coloured leafs.
3). the leafs are the most striking. i think they are vibrant and the most visually stimulating.
4) i would photoshop it differently. i think it looks a little fake.

現今科技的高度發展，逐步地將人類外貌和現實連結上的關係也產生了耐人尋味的邏輯，因透過手術過程所產生的新真實外在覆蓋了原本真實的舊外貌 , 在這樣形態的狀態下，它不是真實的復生，也不屬於現實，而轉變成超越現實了。 它並不是精準無誤的事實，但卻是一個具有超越性的真相，而早就在真實的另一端中發生。
透過美麗撩人的姿態和臉龐，色彩對比鮮明以及運用繁複的影像元素堆疊，作品中總是充滿迷人的魅力，但卻同時給人某種詭譎的氣氛。超現實的影像風格，讓人不自覺的走進藝術家巧妙安排的迷幻世界當中， 這些影像透露冷冽的美感，一張張美麗無暇的臉孔卻持續流溢出某種疏離和神祕的感覺。
1978年出生，畢業於國立台北藝術大學科技藝術研究所主修數位藝術的陳育民，目前任教於實踐大學資訊模擬與設計學系，同時從事跨領域設計計畫以及數位藝術創作，曾經獲得多項國際數位設計獎項。在他即將展出的「Face value」個展之中，便試圖透過作品邀請觀眾進入一個奇幻的想像之中。

The element represented in this photo is value. It's represented through the different reds you see in the photo.
The subject of this photo is a smiley face firework. I approached this subject by waiting for the firework to be frozen for a split second as i took the picture.
I think the most success aspect of this photo is how the red from the firework reflected in the water beneath it.
If I could shoot it again, i'd improve on the sharpness of the subject.

Today and Monday I got to go to a class just for fun. It was a portrait workshop hosted by the Muskogee Art Guild. The first day we got some pointers and did a value study of two models. Today we turned one value study into a painting. I suppose if you were there the extra day you could have turned both into paintings.
Beautiful opening ceremony to the Seattle Compassion Games organized by Backbone Campaign with many community partners. The Ceremony held at Garfield High School featured Aerial Dance, Art and Imagery making community values visible, youth doing breakdancing and cheers, a film series, community leaders giving it their blessing and endorsement including the mayor and native tribal leaders, and more.

Cosmos are popular garden blooms in the daisy and sunflower family. The plants are native to Mexico, but have become a common sight in gardens across North America. Cosmos must be planted annually outside their native environment. They are especially favored by those who wish to attract butterflies to their yards.
When it comes to appearance, cosmos have similar flowers to other members of the daisy family. They usually have eight flowers ranging in color from pink or white to purple, though there are also other shades, especially in hybrid varieties. Cosmos thrive in full sun, though they can survive in partial shade. They prefer alkaline soil with a pH above 7.0, and need consistent temperatures of 75ºF for seeds to germinate.
At full growth, cosmos plants can reach sizes of up to six feet tall and three feet across. Because the bright flowers are good at attracting butterflies, birds, and other pollinators, they are popular companion plants in fruit and vegetable gardens. The pollinators that visit cosmos will likely stop at plants nearby, too.
Many people plan out their gardens months in advance. They select just the right plants that will provide beauty and utility at the same time. Cosmos are a wonderful choice and will bring a splash of color through their flowers and the butterflies visiting them.

The objects were small parts of our cosmology, Nyama, rituals, everyday activities, etc. They are also interwoven with our relationship to “ourkind” and place in the community The weights were used like the spoken language to commemorate social or historical events or entities , to express philosophical or Nyama feeling, aspirations, dreams or simply to ask questions or to express displeasure.
