Skill builder sampler block #2!

The light and dark value nine patch.

My central idea is value. I chose this concept, because my family is very important to me. Most people would say that they value their family and friends. But some people would say that they care for wealth, looks, religion and etc. I wanted to show that there are many things that people love if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I wanted to be more on the positive side, but I realized that not everything is all just happiness. So I changed a couple of my picture ideas and showed more of a darker side of what valuable means.

For my first photo, it shows religion or beliefs. I think that this works for my concept, because religious beliefs is something that some people put all of their time and effort in. It can affect how people live and how they act towards others and the environment.

For my second photo, I'm showing beauty. Many people around the world is insecure about how they looks, and how others see them from the outside. Makeup covers all of the physical marks on someone's face or body. Some people are consumed by makeup so much that they can't even go outside without makeup on, because they feel embarrassed or ugly.

My next photo shows the importance of pets. Pets can be very valuable to to a person or family. A pet can be like a best friend or a family member that you've never had. They comfort you and help you feel like your not alone. And when you have a pet, you create a special bond.

My fourth photo represents family. Family is one of the bigger values that people have. You can go to them when you are having a hard time, and count on them for anything. They're like your best friends and you have a lot of memorable memories together whether it's good or bad.

My last photo shows wealth. Individuals can be so focused on how much money they have, since they can buy anything that they desire. Some people would rather live with a lot of money than live with people around them. And in my photo it shows someone in a suit wearing a watch and having a lot of money. So I think that all of my photos fit for this project.

MSU AgBioResearch scientist and Professor of Chemical Engineering Mark Worden studies how to turn what is now considered waste into high-value chemical products.

Currently, the most common process to make biodiesel fuel involves making the fuel in batches, which is manually intensive and raises costs.

MSU AgBioResearch scientists and chemical engineering researchers Carl Lira and Dennis Miller have begun to develop a continuous production process for biodiesel from soy oil.

Agriculture is the main stay of Uganda’s economy, however, the share of agriculture in the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has been declining steadily. In fiscal year 2009/10, agriculture contributed only 14.6% to the national GDP of which 1.3% was attributed to the livestock sub-sector. The dairy industry is estimated to contribute more than 50% of the total output from the livestock sub-sector. The dairy industry employs many people who are engaged in various economic activities along the dairy value chain, particularly in milk production, collection, bulking and transportation, processing, distribution and marketing as well as provision of inputs and support services.

To optimize coverage with the best appeal possible, go with a full front end clear bra. This package includes the full bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and headlights. The clear bras we install are not pre-cut kits. Using large pieces of Venture Shield paint protection film, we hand install the film in full panels to ensure seamless coverage. The edges are wrapped to give your car extra protection. Since the car is being protected in so many ways the owner of this car will have a higher resale value on his or her car.

🇺🇸 Grandpa’s Soccer School was born from the passion of Mr. Antônio, a former player who, after retiring from the pitch, didn’t want to leave the game behind — he wanted to give back. With a whistle around his neck and a smile on his face, he gathered kids from the neighborhood on a dusty field, teaching them the basics of soccer and, more importantly, the values behind the game: respect, unity, discipline, and friendship. What started as a small activity among neighbors quickly became a project that changed lives. The school grew, got better facilities, joined tournaments, and helped shape talents — not just for sports, but for life. Today, even after beloved Grandpa’s passing, his legacy lives on in every training session, every goal, every dream nurtured there. Grandpa’s Soccer School stands strong, shaping people before athletes.
