This is a photo for VALUE, I took this photo by pointing my camera up. I like the way the leafs fill up the frame, I wish the whites weren't so blown out.
I made this quilt using batiks for my mother-in-law's Christmas present. Though I usually shy away from batiks, I LOVE how they turned out in the quilt!
The NHS Values Summit brings together a diverse range of people and perspectives to create a greater understanding of how people’s differences, social status and cultural expectations can affect their experiences of health and care.
It challenges and inspires people to think about the role of ethical leadership in improving the health and wellbeing of local communities, staff and patients and how the NHS can increase the social value of its activities.
Welcoming representatives from health and social care, alongside more than 20 partners from the voluntary and community sector, this event (in Leeds, Yorkshire) was a template for future NHS Values Summits, which will be held twice a year in different locations across the country. Each event will explore a different theme relating to equality, health inequalities and human rights. The next gathering will take place in May 2013.

Ingredients
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp table salt
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup golden seedless raisins
1 cup carrot(s), shredded
1/3 cup almonds, slivered
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/4 pound lean ground turkey
2 cup orange pepper, finely diced
8 oz cooked whole wheat couscous
1 1/2 cup fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 tsp McCormick Ground cumin
Instructions
1. cook couscous according to package directions
2. Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat. Add turkey, peppers, carrots, raisins, cumin, onion powder, cinnamon and salt and cook 5-7 minutes.
3. Whisk broth and flour in a small bowl. Add to turkey mixture and stir until thick, about 2 min.
4. Serve in bowls and top with almonds

Foundation stone 28 Jan 1929 by Miss Carvosso, deputy for Mrs John Dunn, opened 3 Aug 1929 as Methodist, “Ochtomann Memorial Methodist church in recognition of the valued support and services rendered to this church by the late Mr and Mrs Ochtomann”, became Uniting 1977. Previous chapel, west of town, foundation stone 24 Jan 1861, opened 14 Apr 1861 as Mount Olivet Bible Christian.

This was performed by Miss Carvosso, as deputy for Mrs. John Dunn, sen., the wife of the late Hon. J.
