This picture is a symbol for the end of my apprenticeship.
Yesterday was my final exam, the verbal one, and I had to do it in this building.
Not bad, is it?
The result was much better than expected: I got 95% for this verbal exam!
Yay!

This image has been inspired by the dreadful situation that is Brexit. A situation that had no need to happen, created by people who are xenophobic and wanting to prevent, not control immigration into the UK.
The UK, once Brexit happens will also collapse because what the British Government are failing to understand is that there are four seperate countries involved in the Union and that two of them decided that they wanted to remain a part of the EU.
It looks like the UK Government will be defeated again in the House of Commons with their Brexit plans but sadly that won't necessarily mean that we will remain in the EU, it means that we are more likely to fall out of the EU with no net to catch us when it happens.
This goverment peddled lies to the people during its campaigning for Brexit, it sold an idea but never once sold what the hard facts actually will be and now we have reached the cliff edge, the UK Government hopes that the EU will blink even at the last minute no matter how many times it has been told categorically that this is not going to happen.
I hate the fact that there is such division in Ireland, I only hope that peace there will prevail and we do not see a return to the bad old days where there is a physical border between the north and south and the reigniting of the troubles of the past.
Each of the four nations of the UK have their own very independent and different cultures, politics, histories (even though with many links) and needs for the future.
Britain leaving the EU will not only make the nation poorer, it will make its people poorer, it will set back all parts of society many years, crime levels will increase, medications will be in short supply or run out and public disorder will become the norm.
It's not looking good for this little island, my simple wish is that people should now be able to vote for the deal now that we know exactly what it means and make an informed decision on Brexit and not the party in government who is behaving like a dictator.
The EU is not perfect, it never will be and it will forever require to be updated but it much better to be a member of it than being outside of it operating under WTO rules.

Cuantas veces he soñado ser como ésta gaviota. Volar libre, sin barreras ni ataduras. Hacer cada día, algo tan sencillo y a la vez complicado, como simplemente vivir. Volar por encima todo y solo tener como meta, alcanzar el día siguiente. Contemplar como mis compañer@s de viaje son felices y como consecuencia, me hacen feliz a mí. Sentirme totalmente lleno y rebosante de alegría, con las cosas que veo, con palabras amables y sinceras del vecin@ de al lado, al que a veces ni tan siquiera conozco personalmente, pero que está ahí cada día, para hacerme la vida, mi vida, más agradable. ¿Será muy difícil conseguirlo?. Lucho cada día por averiguarlo. Y a veces, hasta creo conseguirlo.
