Hanging out on Utopia in Arrowhead, I spotted this cactus. An amazing specimen. I had to shoot it so I could use Google to help me identify it. I think it's an Organ Pipe Cactus and Google Lens seems to concur (Stenocereus thurberi) (pitaya dulce). I did not expect to see this magnificent Organ Pipe in the Valley. Their range is normally farther to the south in the Sonoran Desert (Organ Pipe National Monument) into Sonora, Southern Baja, and Northern Sinaloa. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stenocereus_thurberi

Or as close as it gets for me. ...totally surrounded by snow. If there's snow I'll find it, even if it's the only spot on earth. Opting out of the fancier version to stay in this cabin instead was definitely the better choice --nothing quite like getting back to the basics. I was going to save this for next year at Christmas but you never know, no one is promised tomorrow...the outhouse is to the upper left if anyone has to go to the loo.

Lately I need place like this in my life, but I can only afford to build it with legos. All started with water and bridge across it. I like how bridge looks and small color changes in water texture.

Two Dennis Darts were acquired in April 2011 from Flights Hallmark by Utopia Coaches both Darts R138RLY and R149RLY were bought for their newly gained services.
Here R149RLY is seen near Askham Bryan on the 37 heading to Tadcaster.

Searching for Utopia, created by Belgian artist Jan Fabre, is a three-meter-tall sculpture nestled between residential buildings along the Belgian coast.
One way to move closer to Utopia is to focus your mental energy on things that matter and that you have control over. If it doesn't matter, move on, or you can't control it; you just have to roll with it. Sometimes you can do more than you think you can about something, so it is not always clear-cut. We only have a limited amount of mental energy. Use it wisely.
