This was a project where we took the same image and made it into a utopia and a distopia. This utopia elicits impressions of life, and creation, while the distopia is focused on death and destruction. Simple, black-and-white distinctions, yes, but this project was about taking one image and polarizing it.

utopia cable hat in malabrigo, in the paris night colorway. the yarn was a generous prize from val's blog contest a few months ago.
although i've said that i don't particularly like knitting cables, i don't really mind when it's cabled hat. the malabrigo makes this insanely soft and squishy. yay!
