Hi guys and gals!
I'm super excited to let you all know that today, after 2 months of tweaking and testing, I've finally released my Presets package for Lightroom!
I invite you all to download and try it out, and I hope that it'll save you plenty of time during your post processing journey.
In this image I used the Shadow Dancer Lightroom Preset to create the colours that you see there. I couldn't think of a more suitable image to formally release with this one other than a nifty hot air balloon floating into the sky.
Anyway let us know how you go with the use of those presets and as always your valuable feedback is important to me.
Peace to you all, stay hip and stay awesome!
Thanks for your visit and comments, I appreciate that very much!

I think a smaller aperture could have been used to get the sandy foreground a touch sharper just like the background, none the less the composition is infectious and really cool! Will definitely need to visit this place one day!
Meadow Pipit - Anthus Pratensis
The meadow pipit (Anthus pratensis) is a small passerine bird which breeds in much of northwestern Eurasia, from southeastern Greenland and Iceland east to just east of the Ural Mountains in Russia, and south to central France and Romania; there is also an isolated population in the Caucasus Mountains. It is migratory over most of its range, wintering in southern Europe, North Africa and south-western Asia, but is resident year-round in western Europe. However, even here, many birds move to the coast or lowlands in winter.
It is primarily a species of open habitats, either uncultivated or low-intensity agriculture, such as pasture, bogs, and moorland, but also occurs in low numbers in arable croplands. In winter, it also uses saltmarshes and sometimes open woodlands. It is a fairly terrestrial pipit, always feeding on the ground, but will use elevated perches such as shrubs, fence lines or electricity wires as vantage points to watch for predators.
The estimated total population is 12 million pairs. It is an abundant species in the north of its range, and generally the commonest breeding bird in most of upland Britain, but less common further south. Breeding densities range from 80 pairs per square kilometre in northern Scandinavia, to 5–20 pairs per square kilometre in grassland in the south of the breeding range, and just one pair per square kilometre in arable farmland. There are a small number of isolated breeding records from south of the main range, in the mountains of Spain, Italy, and the northern Balkans.
There has been a general decline in the population over the past 17 years, most notable in French farmland, with a 68% drop.
Using the freshest seafood from the loch of the same name (the longest sea loch in Scotland), Loch Fyne restaurants serve a variety of shellfish and smoked fish - all of which are complimented by an extensive wine list. Non-seafood dishes are also available
I can recommend Loch Fyne Kipper's for me they are the best you will have.

I used to be angry at my friend Doug for skipping rocks in Moraine Lake on an unreal day... I'm starting to change my mind on the subject haha. September 30th of last year remains one of my most memorable days for moments captured like this.
I used up all the plain flour making these clouds. this is taken in my favourite golden fields which are so nice and orange at this time of year. I love seeing how nature changes throughout the seasons
Days That Used To Be_Neil Young
People say don't rock the boat, let things go their own way
Ideas that once seem so right, now have gotten hard to say
I wish that I could talk to you and you could talk to me
'Cause there very few of us left my friend
From the days that used to be
Seem like such a simple thing to follow one's own dream
But possessions and concession are not often what they seem
They drag you down and load you down in disguise of security
But we never had to make those deals
In the days that used to be
Talk to me, my long lost friend, tell me how you are
Are you happy with your circumstance, are you driving a new car
Does it get you where you want to go, with a seven year warranty
Or just another hundred thousand miles away
From the days that used to be

The house may look like a 19th century Italian palazzo, but in reality this house began as, and still is, a research institution and it was inaugurated in 1933 under the name Scuola Romena di Roma. The house is designed by the architect Petre Antonescu.
This is one of several institutes and academies, focusing on research in the humanities that can be found not just in Rome, but this part of Rome. The neighbours are Academia Belgica, Reale Istituto Neerlandese, Istituto Svedese di Studi Classici (where I was staying at the time), Accademia d’Egitto di Belle Arti and Accademia di Danimarca - and The British School at Rome is at a close distance (as are several others). But while most (if not all) of the other institutes have worked continuously as just that since their founding, the Romanian Academy has had a more diverse history. It was completely closed 1947-1969 and left to decay, and when it reopened it was as a Romanian library and culture centre. After 1989 it renamed itself Accademia di Romania a Roma and in 2005 it was re-admitted into the official organization for the foreign research institutes in Rome.

For the Macro Mondays theme 'Love', I used a heart-shaped memo clip. Always nice to put in sweet messages ;-))
While I was taking pictures, one of my cats jumped on the table and knocked over this memo clip. And that gave this result! The reflection and light in it is caused by sunlight and the silvery paper, I used.
Happy Macro Monday and also Happy Valentines Day everyone !
I always feel compelled to rescue on or two of these when the opportunity arises….Bettie than plastic perhaps, but still mad!

I used to live in the house on the right when I was very young. It was haunted... that or I was having a bad reaction to the Phenobarbital I was given for my seizures.
using a standard 35mm lens with a couple of macro rings, depth of field became razor thin as I had to get up close and personal

(The blue pillows are part of wedding preparations which were going on when we visited.)
The mosaics behind the altar is perhaps one of the most famous from late antiquity / early medieval there is - dating from the 5th century. It depicts Jesus in the middle in golden robes with the Torah in his hand. St Paul is to the left of him, and St Peter to the right. The twins Cosma and Damiano are standing behind them, one on each side (though it is impossible to tell who's who - they are depicted as identical twins). To the far right is St Theodore - and to the far left the founder of the church pope Felix IV, holding a model of the church. Felix is actually a reconstruction (but generally thought to be well done) since a later pope replaced him with a portrait of pope Gregory the Great(!). Felix was restored in the 17th century.
The church Santi Cosma e Damiano was founded in 527 by Theodore the Great when he and his daughter Amalasuntha donated two buildings to pope Felix IV - the buildings being the Temple of Romulus and the Temple of Peace, built by emperor Vespasian. These buildings are the foundation for this church. Today it is hard to see how it is possible - standing in the church you can, through a window, look down into the Romulus temple. But this is due to the in the early 17th century the floor in the church was raised with some 7 metres and a new entrance was made - and left the temple of Romulus back at (the old) ground level. The same renovation also added new side chapels and a new ceiling.

Example of use of TOPAZ AI SHARPEN
A Chiffchaff taking off
Un pouillot veloce qui s'envole
It's impossible to recover a movement blur with a sharpening filter : a sharpening filter will only add noise in this case but it will never recover details.
TOPAZ AI SHARPEN includes a new function called STABILIZE that is different from a simple sharpening filter. It tries to find a movement on the photo and to cancel it. That's why sometimes there are small artifacts on the opposite side of the movement, but it is really easy to deal with them with GIMP or photoshop.
To conclude : this tool deserves a try as it is free for 30 days.
It is very usefull for animals in movement (birds in flight, animals running ...), but it can manage movement of the photographer too.

You come walking 'round here
Acting like we're something
Then you up and disappear
And make it real clear
That we're nothing
I've been used
Damaged by you
Oh, I've been used, now I'm crying
By you, now I'm dying
'Cause I've been used
Guess I knew
'Cause that's what you do
Well, if love was just a crime
You would never do the time
Now, would ya
Could you love somebody else
The way you love yourself
If it suits ya
I've been used
Damaged by you
Oh, I've been used, now I'm crying
By you, now I'm dying
'Cause I've been used
Guess I knew
'Cause that's what you do
Well, I gave you what you asked
You gave…

I started out with film photography many years ago. But, in spite of seeing so many awesome film images here on Flickr, I love the versatility of digital. I also love collecting old cameras.
I'm so used to being used
So I love when you call unexpected
'Cause I hate when the moment's expected
So I'ma care for you, you, you
I'ma care for you, you, you, you,
'Cause girl you're perfect
You're always worth it
And you deserve it
The way you work it
'Cause girl you earned it, yeah
Girl you earned it, yeah
We used today to dive into the history of the Danish West Coast visiting the Tirpitz Museum in Blavand as well as the open air museum of Nymindegab.
