This is a photo of one of the many toys that litter my daughter's house to entertain my grandson! It had some good colour contrasts, Those of us who still delight in taking transparencies have seen so many of our favourite materials disappear and those that remain rise in price. I was delighted when Kodak Alaris announced the re-introduction of Ektachrome. I got some from Analogue Wonderland and Silverpan developed it. I'm delighted with the film, the colours are good and it's sharp. They look great when projected.
Fazer o que seja é inútil.
Não fazer nada é inútil.
Mas entre fazer e não fazer
mais vale o inútil do fazer.
Mas não, fazer para esquecer
que é inútil: nunca o esquecer.
Mas fazer o inútil sabendo
que ele é inútil, e bem sabendo
que é inútil e que seu sentido
não será sequer pressentido,
fazer: porque ele é mais difÃcil
do que não fazer, e dificil-
mente se poderá dizer
com mais desdém, ou então dizer
mais direto ao leitor Ninguém
que o feito o foi para ninguém.

No one is perfect enough to treat you like you are garbage.
You should respect yourself and recognize the fact that no one is capable of breaking you down unless you let them to.
You are not useless nor incapable of doing anything you set as a goal.
You are you.And that should be something you are proud of.
Do not let anyone hurt you or label you .
Against all types of violence.
Useless flier #3. I considered omitting the tabs on this entirely, but I like the idea of people being able to express their affirmation of the experience somehow.
Getting screwed out of decent lighting along the Aurora Subdivision, the NS Nickel Plate motor slinks its way westbound amid heavy cloud cover.
The plan was to get a better sun angle on this thing since the forecast was for complete sun by heading way west. Oh well.
Maybe some other time. I guess I should have stayed further east for a sunny backlit shot.
First off it wouldn't accept my account number. The form failed to tell me it didn't want ALL of my account number, just some of it. Then on submit, my order turned to the above.
BT are okay until you try and do anything other than make a phone call! Gah!
Luke 12:28
If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

one of several DIYprojects Larry and I tackled this summer.
At some point I guess the room we're using as a livingroom in our apt. over the rental must have been a bedroom, with a closet in the corner.
Now that it's our livingroom, the couch is on the only wall it works on, with the closet at one end..
As a closet, it's useless.
We really didn't need it for storage space.
What I DID need was an end table at that end of the couch.
I studied the situation.
We could have knocked the wall out and taken the closet out entirely, which would have opened up the corner, and then I'd have been able to jam a small side table in there, but I'd still have to leave the wicker chair (or any chair) on the other wall.
So we decided to take the doors off the closet and turn it into a "built in".
The shelf on the bottom is low enough to serve as an end table, so I can have lighting at that end, and a place to set a glass.
We finished it off with some faux wood wallpaper on the back wall and added an extra
shelf for books and knick knacks.
It turned out pretty good and it serves it's purpose.
