Hi all my friends, as many of you asked me to write information about hedgehogs, here is a brief:
Hedgehogs live any where in the gardens or woods, their favorite places to dig their holes are under a big mass of broken woods or old autumn leaves, they get out only at night, they don’t get out at day light very much, the old ones of them because they are more careful and know more about the dangers out at the day, but the babies are some kind stupid that they always get out at the day light so they can be picked up by a crazy girl - like me - to take photos for them :D
They don’t bite, they are so calm and tender, they just try to run away and hid, and when they feel danger or are picked up, they “roll” themselves inside, the babies don’t prick a lot so you can hold them, but the old ones…. yes they prick soooo much :D but you can hold them too with more carefulness.
They can beget 5 or 6 babies at a time (some how like rabbits), when they are just born, they do not have any single spine, they have a very soft pink skin, they grow up to become about the size of a football.
They eat almost every thing, bugs, plants, old leaves, rice or seeds, fruits…
Some people raise them as pets at home, but ours are just living in our garden, the story is this: few years ago, my father found the first small one was crossing the road with all the cars there, so he picked him up to save him from crashing under the cars and put him in our garden, a little while after that he found another one, for our so wonderful luck, they were male and female :D and they’ve got all the little cute ones you saw in my picture.

I used to not care much about these flowers everyone calls weeds and pulls from their lawns, but seeing them blossom so beautifully this year has really changed my mind about them.. They're gorgeous little flowers, and the bright yellow and green color scheme just screams SPRING!! after the long, cold winter. I really found it hard to choose just one to post. Here are your winners, and their little sibling not yet bloomed below.
I used to see this car quite often when I lived in Reading but it appears to be no more, with tax and MOT liability dates of 2017.
Had been with the same owner since 1998. It was around 2013 that I really started noticing Mondeos but lost a lot of photos in a big hardware failure. Oh well!
We use the word peacock to refer to the entire species, but the correct name for the pheasant is peafowl. Peafowl are native to India, Southeast Asia and Central Africa -- not the U.S., although there is a large, growing population in Florida. All it takes is for a few birds to escape captivity, and they will quickly breed and multiply.
Peacocks are the colorful male peafowl. They have iridescent blue and green tail feathers, with blue, green, red and gold "eye" markings that drag behind them as they walk in a colorful "train." The tail is arched into a large, round fan during a mating ritual or courtship display. Females are called peahens, and they're typically muted brown or green.

A Kamov Ka-32, civilian derivative of the military Ka-27, all covered up against the sun and heat, in a field near Alexandroupoli airport in northern Greece.
The type is often used in firefighting tasks, although I could not establish that on the day.
This RS4 Avant uses a long-roof variation on my DTM sedan chassis. I’ve wanted to build a wagon for some time, and just keep ending up somewhere else. Finally I made myself stick to it :)
As with my Alfa and Merc builds, this has a 7-stud section between the wheel wells and uses a 1 plate vertical offset at the rear wheels to produce a slight downward rake towards the front.
I wasn’t sure the front clip was possible considering the rather specific geometry of Audi faces, but after some iteration I found a way to make it work. This solution for the grille face requires two black triangle stickers to be placed on the lower 1x1 white tiles (I used the extra black from a left over SC sticker sheet) to get the basic shape right since the angles of these details are sub-pixel for Lego, for lack of a better term. The DRL’s are achieved with more intricate shapes cut from the white area on an SC sticker sheet. They are so key to the look there is no way around it :) The basic layout of the front ended up being rather straight-forward and without stickers looks quite a lot like a current gen Charger sedan. The offset achieved by layering the 1x3 grille tile over part of both trans-black headlights helps to produce the right proportions for the grille and gives more dimension to the headlights.
Out back is a place where instead of stickers I have employed printed graphic inserts for the tail lights. In Illustrator I created black and white LED shapes for the tail lights and cut them to fit inside the 1x1 trans red tile and the 1x1 trans red slope. It has a nice, subtle scale detail effect that gets the car’s look much closer than the trans tiles were getting on their own. As with my GT350 build, I again used some left-over black sticker area to black out the interior/inset area of the white 1x1 panel tiles, which helps to visually unify the rear diffuser.
I ultimately built about 5 different roof racks (all too tall or too wide) and ended up back at this simple solution. The racks will be interesting for something later, but it kept looking more like a safari adventure than a rack for a sporty weekend outing so I took the clean and simple route.
I wanted this car to have a bit of a story, being a wagon/estate, so this also gave me a good reason to build a little picnic cooler, pick up an azure city bike and throw in a boombox. Hello local parks, here come some all-wheel burnouts!!

My Gramma used to buy things...a lot of things. She loved dolls. She had two Strawberry Shortcake Dolls still in their boxes on her huge doll shelf when she died in 1994. On Wednesday my mother mailed them to me. Helena is absolutely in love with these dolls...but I'm afraid of letting her play with them alone. I already gave her my Pee Wee Herman doll. He was in the box all these years too. But even though I gave him to her she managed to find the empty box in the closet and destroy it. But life is for living and dolls are for playing and loving. I think Helena and I have a new hobby. p.s. the dolls still smell...it really brings back memories.

bookshelf in the Auberge du Vieux village, built by a Sorbonne professor; I wonder if these were part of his personal collection. Some have the price on the spine, an interesting range. I presume the 100frs is 100 old francs, pre-1960 when the two zeros were removed.
Normally used on Manchester Victoria to Blackpool North services, one of the three-Car Newton Heath allocated Class 104 sets complete with its white bodyside stripe, was working the Kirkham to Blackpool South shuttle service on September 19th 1979. M53474 arrives from Kirkham along a route that was still double track into the magnificent station at St-Annes-On-The-Sea.
In less enlightened times, the fine station that should have been a show piece for the town, was destroyed in an orgy of official vandalism in the 1980's.

Saw it in used car showroom complex. It was used to fuel aircrafts at airport and from its shape it was abandoned long time, but I notice that the truck have new licence plates. Are they going to return it back to service again ?
Using an orange filter on the full spectrum Sigma SD14 without the IR cut filter. Converting direct in Rawtherapee with default pp3 file to convert the raw file to have blue sky and convert the infrared to yellow-gold. Converting in Rawtherapy does not get the full resolution from the file I think.

Communal life at a traditional Iban longhouse or Rumah Panjang tends to converge around an elongated wooden veranda that serves as an open social area. Daily activities at this particular longhouse also converge around a strategic crossing point at a tropical rainforest stream that runs below the elevated longhouse structure and veranda.
The longhouse and verandah structure is raised on tall stilts and naturally positioned along the stream about a half day's jungle trek from Kapit, a small riverine supply town that caters to the many Iban and Orang Ulu longhouse communities in the upper Rajang River region of Sarawak (East Malaysia, Borneo).
Notched logs are used as ladders to access the stream and longhouse. Finely woven rattan gathering baskets are part of the daily communal scene. Traditional hand-tapped Iban tattoos on the headman's back are seen as having magical protective powers. View from the elevated longhouse veranda. These were all made using a photo I'd taken of Tokyo, blended with a free stock photo of jungle vegetation that I'd download on a Creative Commons licence.
This started as a view from a client's office in Nihombashi, looking towards the Sky Tree.
Photoshop's 'Neural Filters' are things I use on a daily basis - the skin smoothing in particular. But I hadn't really ever used any of the more 'creative' ones til recently.
Interesting experiment.
As AI gets cleverer, it really has improved Photoshop. I'm not one for massive edits or removing a lot of stuff from my photos. But just simple things like 'Content Aware Fill' and 'Sky Replacement' have become really, really smooth and clever.

Using the communal word like Say What You Mean and Do What You Love, this particular mantra proves true time and time again for me. I am a constant culprit of trying to shine up an idea to compensate for lack of clarity of concept. If I catch compensating for my lack of an idea, I know I am headed in the wrong direction and need to take a second look. Kind of how great songs still sound great using only an acoustic guitar.

I get a decent number of questions asking me what I shoot with, do I use X or Y or whatever... so to make it easier I recently just took a photo of what's in my camera case, and then dumped it out so folks could get an idea of what tools I use (admittedly some more than other's).

Tech Details: If your curious how one takes a photograph of all of one's photo gear the answer is you borrow a friends camera from down the street (a Rebel XT/350D with a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens).
Lighting provided by one White Lighting X1600 to camera right difused through a large softbox, with Westcott 42" Silver reflector to camera right to just bring in some fill light. A short roll of White Savage Seamless just hanging off the knuckle arm of an Avenger C-Stand (easier and quicker than getting out a big background stand). Triggered by a good ole-fashioned sync cable connected to a Nikon AS-15 on the hot shoe since the RebelXT/350D lacks a PC Sync connector.
