1.Kronberg / Taunus
Die Stadt Kronberg im Taunus (bis zum 17. Oktober 1933 Cronberg geschrieben) ist ein staatlich anerkannter Luftkurort im Hochtaunuskreis im Land Hessen und Teil der Stadtregion Frankfurt, der größten Agglomeration im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Sie hat ihren Namen nach der Burg Kronberg, von 1220 bis 1704 Stammsitz der Ritter von Kronberg. Der Vordertaunus, insbesondere Kronberg sowie die Nachbarstadt Königstein im Taunus sind für ihre teuren Wohnlagen mit einer Reihe von Villen bekannt. Kronberg gilt als drittreichste Kommune in Deutschland. Zudem wies die Stadt Kronberg im Taunus im Jahr 2007 einen weit überdurchschnittlichen Kaufkraftindex von 179 Prozent
des Bundesdurchschnitts auf und belegt damit einen bundesweiten Spitzenwert.
2. Frankfurt
Frankfurt am Main ist mit etwa 736.000 Einwohnern die größte Stadt Hessens und die fünftgrößte Deutschlands. Sie ist kreisfrei und bildet das Zentrum des Ballungsraums Frankfurt mit etwa 2,5 Millionen Einwohnern (mit Offenbach, Hanau und dem Vortaunus). In der gesamten Metropolregion Rhein-Main leben etwa 5,5 Millionen Menschen.
Heute ist Frankfurt einer der wichtigsten internationalen Finanzplätze, bedeutendes Industrie-, Dienstleistungs- und Messezentrum und zählt zu den Weltstädten. Der Flughafen gehört zu den größten der Welt, der Hauptbahnhof ist ein zentraler Bahnknotenpunkt und das Frankfurter Kreuz der meistbefahrene Straßenknotenpunkt Deutschlands. Darüber hinaus ist der DE-CIX in Frankfurt, gemessen am Durchsatz, der weltweit größte Internet-Knoten.

I'd recently bought a number of pastel wigs for my GIANT Series and shooting a self portrait in the blossom is something of a tradition for me every year now, still, it's hard to use wigs and blossom in a shot without referencing Bella Kotak, although not intentional, once I completed the shot, I see similarities. Her work is other worldly though so do look her up, I am still planning on collaborating with her :)
As I mentioned, shooting in the blossom is something I do every year, and I got worried that I might miss it as I kept putting it off, but noticed this wonderful tree that was bursting with flowers at the bottom of my road, so finally today I shoved on my favourite wig and went to shoot. This was next to a main road so odd looks ensued.
I will get on shooting more self portraits I promise. I have always adored shooting in the blooms of spring, probably because it is my favourite time of year and the world does look so magical in spring.

Used and abused
he left me there,

I’ll take it as a token
to appreciate and validate
the good things in my life.

because I know
how deep that pain can go.
I still hand out my smile
when I feel that someone
didn’t have one in a while.
I refused to stay abused,
I do enjoy life.
You wonder why and how?
Because I can, I’m still alive!

VRSA used to have two stations. The railway company chose to close the one closer to the town centre, directly adjacent to the bus station and to the ferry terminal (for Ayamonte, Spain). Madness.
The old railroad depot in the ghost town of Rhyolite,NV. has seen many different uses over the last 100+ years.After the town was abandoned in the early 1910's,the tracks were taken up.It has been used as a museum,restaurant,warehouse,and a casino over the years since then.It now sits empty.
Rhyolite is one of the most accessible and popular ghost towns in Nevada,mainly due to the ruins of many fine stone buildings still standing.It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it has the name shí hú (石斛) or shí hú lán (石斛兰). This orchid is one of the most widespread ornamental members of the family. There is many different created varieties which blooms in different colors - yellow, white e.t.c. The origin of the plant is in the south parts of Asia. The most common name of this orchid is Dendrobium or simply orchid. Dendrobium nobile is sympodial orchid which forms pseudobulbs. When the life cycle of the mother plant ends it produces little offsets by continuing the life of the plant. The same cycle is used every year. The stem is erect and during the flowering period it forms blooms on its sides along the whole length of the orchid. This monocot has thin, white roots and leads epiphytic type of life.
A orquídea Dendrobium é um dos gêneros mais numerosos e populares que encanta muitos orquidófilos pela sua rusticidade, delicadeza, cores e formas de suas floreinária da Ásia tropical e subtropical, estendendo-se por Nova Guiné, Bornéu, Filipinas, Austrália, e Nova Zelândia, pertencendo à família Orchidaceae. O gênero foi estabelecido em 1799, e seu nome vem de duas palavras gregas: dendros (árvore) e bio (vida), e significa vida sobre as árvores, pois a grande maioria de suas espécies é epífita, embora existam espécies que vegetam de forma litófita, isto é, nas fendas das rochas, entre material orgânico rico em nutrientes. A maioria das espécies produz altos pseudobulbos roliços que lembram a cana-de-açúcar, com folhas por toda sua extensão, e florescem em cores variadas. As flores agrupam-se em talos curtos ao longo dos pseudobulbos por toda a primavera até o verão, dependendo da região geográfica onde se encontrar.
Grande parte das orquídeas Dendrobium apreciam regiões de clima tropical, e por esse motivo se adaptaram bem às condições brasileiras. As espécies mais conhecidas que representam o gènero no Brasil é a Dendrobium Nobile, mais conhecido por "olho de boneca", por causa do tom do labelo em relação as pétalas e sépalas, e pela diversidade de cores das flores. É uma planta que está perfeitamente adaptada às condições climáticas do Brasil em regiões de clima de frio, onde passam pela diferença térmica de temperatura do dia para a noite e experimentam um ar mais seco que causa um stress hídrico, fazendo com que a planta até perca as folhas, mas permitindo que ela floresça abundantemente para proliferar a sua espécie, formando belíssimos arranjos florais que perduram em média 20 dias.

Es una especie de orquídea de hábito epifita. Es una de las 50 hierbas fundamentales usadas en la medicina tradicional china, su nombre en chino es: shí hú (石斛) o shí hú lán (石斛兰). Es una orquídea simpodial que forma pseudobulbos. El tallo es erecto y durante el período de floración forma flores en sus lados a lo largo de toda la longitud de la orquídea. Esta especie tiene las raíces delgadas y blancas y el hábito de epífita. Esta orquídea fue descrita por John Lindley y publicado en The Genera and Species of Orchidaceous Plants 79. 1830.
Etimología Dendrobium: nombre genérico que procede de la palabra griega (δένδρον) dendron = "tronco, árbol" y (βιος) Bios = "Vida", en resumen significa "viven sobre los troncos de los árboles" (por su naturaleza epifita).

Ironwood Hills - Photo Contest
As she lay there on the attic floor, tossed aside with all his other mementos, her mind reeled. "How? How could I have been so foolish?", she thought to herself. He seemed different than all the others. Sincere. He was smart, charming, and made her laugh. She thought he was the one. Those words sent a shiver through her. As she lie crumpled, cast off, she knew now that to him, this was all a game. What seemed like true love to her, was only a game to him. He viewed her as nothing more than a doll on a screen. No real emotions, no repercussions. A virtual world where he could sate all his desires, and simply move on to the next. As she lay there on that attic floor, her shame soon turned to anger, and, strangely, a calm fell over her. She began to plot her revenge....and to find closure.
