This is the upper pool at Terwilliger Hotsprings in the Oregon Cascades. Water flows out of a small cave into the pool and cold-water stream runs beside the pools. This is a very hot spring.

A successful combination of form and substance: the technique for processing the polycarbonate, as well as giving it certain aesthetic appeal, makes this practical step-ladder exceptionally resistant and functional. The metal structure is solid, welded to the transparent polycarbonate, polished and crystalline body. The non-skid steps are practical and safe. Ideal to be displayed by itself or by a bookcase in the lounge, in the kitchen, bathroom or night zone.

Laying waste along in northern Ohio is Upper Canada, an automobile and passenger ferry. Christened and launched in May 1949 as the Romeo & Annette, she entered service under the command of Captain Romeo Allard, who operated a ferry across the Bay of Chaleur between Bathurst, New Brunswick, and Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec. In 1966, the ferry, now named Upper Canada, was used as a second ferry between Kingston and Wolfe Island. In 1976, Upper Canada served as a backup for the Pelee Islander and was then sent to LaSalle where it was leased to the Beausoleil First Nation for service on Christian Island on Georgian Bay between 1996 and 2000.
Upper Canada was then moved to Lorain, Ohio. Her registration expired in 2008, and the boat has been abandoned ever since.

The Upper Geyser Basin (Yellostone National Park) is famous for hosting Old Faithful Geyser. But there is much more in the area than just this famous geyser. The Upper Geyser Basin also boasts the largest concentration of geysers in the world, including many of the worlds largest geysers.
Looking north across Upper Joffre Lake back towards where we came from. That's Cayoosh Mountain off in the distance. Despite the hard trail to get here and the voracious mosquitoes, this place is really really beautiful! along Middle Joffre Lake as we hike around it to continue on to the upper lake. The lake really is that color; it's amazing.

This is Upper Creek Falls in Burke County, NC. This is a beautiful waterfall, but it is difficult to photograph, there's really no easy way to view it. I was on top of a huge boulder with my son sitting beside of me. He's eight and he'd try to climb all the way to the top if I'd let him, so trying to watch him and get a good angle on the shot made this one kind of tough, but at the same time rewarding, because I was getting to experience this with him!
This waterfall has three distinct areas, the Upper Section (which you can't see here), the middle section (this view), and the Lower Falls (down stream from here). This shot would be great when the rhodo is in bloom (reason to come back next spring!).

The small upper unnamed lake above Glacier below Chikamin's spires above us and where the real climb and route finding begins. This was our high point for the trip. Mark wasn't feeling up to it. We had 1000 feet to go, probably several hours to go to the summit. And just after turning around it began raining in earnest. The route (as I understand it) goes around to the left to gain access to the ledge above and then you make your way up to the summit.

An amazing view on the Cathedral Lakes Trail. The clouds rolled in at the perfect time to make the mountains pop.
