December 12, 2020 - Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve in Newport Beach, CA. Photo Shoot with Ayla Qureshi, Leticia Hernandez, and Dora Lee. This was my first time ever visiting and photographing around this place!

This shot of the Upper Seletar jetty was taken during a recent sunrise (minus the sun) shoot at the place together with two friends.

RAF Upper Heyford was opened in 1916. It was home to RAF Bomber Command during World War 2 and then the United States Air Force Strategic Air Command during the Cold War. Crews here saw action during Desert Storm. Across the road are the ordnance storage facilities. This side housed classrooms, accommodation, a supermarket, and hospital (now demolished). Oh, and a strange indoor beach volleyball court. Closed in 1993. The whole site is now being demolished to make way for a housing development.

The Upper Geyser Basin (Yellostone National Park) is famous for hosting Old Faithful Geyser. But there is much more in the area than just this famous geyser. The Upper Geyser Basin also boasts the largest concentration of geysers in the world, including many of the worlds largest geysers.

This picture was taken in the Upper Antelope Canyon near Page Arizona around 12:00pm, when the sunlight could reach the bottom sand of the canyon and reflect to the red Navajo sand rocks. The rock on the right is called "Lincoln" by local Navajos guide.

Bled is known for the glacial Lake Bled, which makes it a major tourist attraction. Perched on a rock overlooking the lake is the iconic Bled Castle. The town is also known in Slovenia for its vanilla-and-cream pastry called kremna rezina or kremšnita.

Naturopath Arnold Rikli (1823–1906) from Switzerland contributed significantly to the development of Bled as a health resort in the 2nd half of the 19th century. Due to its mild climate, Bled has been visited by aristocratic guests from all across the world. Today it is an important convention centre and tourist resort, offering a wide range of sport activities (golf, fishing, horseback-riding) and is a starting point for mountain treks and hikes especially within the nearby Triglav National Park.

A small island in the middle of the lake is home to the Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church; visitors frequently ring its bell for good luck. Human traces from prehistory have been found on the island. Before the church was built, there was a temple consecrated to Živa, the Slavic goddess of love and fertility. One can get to the island on a traditional wooden row barge called Pletna. The island on Lake Bled has 99 steps. A local tradition at weddings is for the husband to carry his new bride up these steps, during which the bride must remain silent.

Bled Castle (Slovene: Blejski grad) is a castle built on top of a 130 meter cliff overlooking lake Bled, located in Bled, Slovenia. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Slovenia, second only to Postojna Cave.

The castle was first mentioned in 1004, which makes it one of the oldest in Slovenia. The oldest part of the castle is the romanesque tower. In the Middle Ages more towers were built and the fortifications were improved. Other buildings were constructed in the Baroque period. The buildings are arranged around two courtyards, which are connected with a staircase. There is a chapel on the upper courtyard, which was built in the 16th century, and renovated around 1700, when it was also painted with illusionist frescoes. The castle also has a drawbridge over a moat.

The Down Griffith Xplorer has not quite cleared the section ahead so a caution aspect is still displayed on this Upper Quadrant semaphore signal at Galong, located between Yass Junction and Harden, on the NSW Main Southern line. Once cleared, the signal arm will point skyward. These remaining signals were replaced in December 2009.

Last weeked an early winter blast swept through central Oregon with a few inches of snow and temps in the twenties. Took advantage of the cold snap for a quick hike to upper Tumalo. As much as I like Tumalo falls, Upper Tumalo is even prettier.

Not much color came through on the RAW image, so black and white it was! I think it works better with the snow anyway.

Sometimes the classics are just what you need - and you can't go wrong with the Leura Cascades. It was nice to sit within the cool spray of the Upper Cascades waterfall, whilst the offspring played in the rockpool getting their feet, legs, arms, clothes, everything wet. The afternoon was topped off by a welcome visit from the local Mr Whippy - ice creams for all.

The Upper Klamath River boasts some of the best whitewater rafting in Oregon. The rapids are rated at class III, IV and V, depending on water levels, and experienced guides are recommended.

There are several local rafting outfitters that are permitted to run the Upper Klamath River, which flows from the lake with the same name southwest into California. The BLM office in Klamath Falls can provide more information on rafting outfitters: 541-883-6916.

Eleven miles of the river are designated as Wild and Scenic.

The Klamath River is one of only three rivers that bisect the Cascade Mountain Range, flowing from the high-desert interior through coastal rain forest to the Pacific Ocean, according to Rivers.gov.

The river flows through a beautiful and remote canyon lined with pine and oak trees, and is also well known for all sorts of outdoor pursuits, like fishing, camping, hiking and biking!
