This is a shot of the remarkable Chancel Crucifix in the Basílica dela Sagrada Família. Gaudi has designed some breathtaking structures in the Basilica, most are stunningly beautiful, but a few bits and pieces for me end up looking a bit comedic. In almost every case, he has added his own unique and non-conventional spin on otherwise very traditional conventions. I guess he was the original shock artist. This crucifix with its canopy is no exception, meant to symbolize not just the death of Jesus, but his subsequent ascension into Heaven, with everything, focused on the ascension, not the death, including Jesus' upturned face, with the crucifix entirely lifted off the ground and suspended as if floating. So, pun very much intended, a very uplifting portrayal of the crucifixion.
Clearly, Gaudi's concept pre-dated parachutes or even aircraft, so clearly not his intent, but I cannot get the image of a parachuting Jesus out of my head.

Eventually the sun and the wind combined to peel off the fog that had settled over night on Lake Louisa.
At Chapel Green Crowborough, during Lock-Down, people have been placing decorated stones around the perimeter to form a stone snake. There are now hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of them. Some are just decorated, some are in memorial and some with thanks to the Key Workers. It is a really uplifting sight. Here are just a few to give you an idea. More are being added every day.

Dialog on subduction uplift and general information on the subject and shoot, is with the previous image. This angle is rather common along the miles long trail.
