wisconsinjobsnow.org - April 25 - Over 200 Wisconsinites joined other members of the 99% from Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Ohio, and (naturally) Michigan to let GE know that their continued tax dodging would not stand. Protesters were met by police as they marched chanting, "Hey There, GE, Pay Your Fair Share!" and joined together to take over Jefferson Avenue in front of the Renaissance Center, headquarters of General Motors, which housed the GE shareholder meeting. Meanwhile, inside the meeting, 99% shareholders directly confronted the GE CEO and according to Reuters:

The demonstrators, who began chanting "Pay Your Fair Share" when the meeting began, were quickly ushered out of the meeting but could still be heard chanting protests as the meeting got underway.

The shareholding group then joined the hundreds of protesters outside in the street to create a monumental show of force.

***UPDATE*** 8/1612 Had an entirely pleasant time hanging out with Dorota and Daniel, who swung by to check out (and take home) this beauty. Dorota is pretty hardcore, and this makes a great addition to their Tri Taylor home, which includes some Saarinen, and possibly soon-some Eames. Thanks guys! I still have one left!

Hi there! Mom said I could get on and let you all know how I was doing. As you can see, I am quite grown up now. I turned six months old eight days ago - and I haven't quite forgiven Mom for forgetting to mention it. I mean, six months is a big milestone! At least a small announcement would have been appropriate, don't you think?

I haven't had any more problems with pacing or seizures since I've been taking the yummy medications and special food, and in the last week or so I've stopped waking Mom up around 4 in the morning to go outside, which makes her very happy, I think!

Promise is still a pest, but she doesn't drag me around by my tail like she did when we were tiny puppies - I weigh too much! Mom told you about her nickname - and it's true! She never stops moving. Me, I'd much rather sit next to someone who will scratch my chest or belly.

I just heard Mom muttering about a dirty door - I think she means the one behind me. I'm not sure what she means about "dirty" - it's my personal nose-and-paw art, not dirt. I worked hard on that! I suppose she'll get over it.

Anyway, I think that's all the news for now. Goodbye, fans!

This is my second update for what I am bringing to BrickWorld 2013. So far I have plate the sections where tan bricks will go but first I need to buy more tan plates. If you are added I would like your feedback or suggestions. This area is where the British soldiers have dug a tunnel by their trench for the wounded.

First of all thank you everyone for the wonderful supportive e-mails, thoughts and prayers...

Today didn't go as planned, as if 1 sleepless night

wasn't enough, the nurse who put Jack's ventilator in put it in too far

and poked his lungs, thankfully no long term damage was done but it

poked the side causing fluid to go there but it caused the lung to

depress and get tight, when they pulled it up it started going away but

the anesthesiologist wants to wait till Thursday now for the surgery...

Better safe than sorry he said since anesthetic depresses the lungs he

needs them as open as possible. I can't say I wasn't angry when we

found out but I keep reminding myself that. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A

REASON...

I am proud of him though he's

up to 2 lbs 6 oz he's gaining about an oz a night at this rate he

should be 3 lbs in less than 2 weeks and maybe in less than 3 or 4

getting the surgery to put his intestines back together. He'll be a

month old on the 24th, I can't believe it!!! oh he's also gained in

length about half an inch, he's 14.75" long.

They are hopefully keeping him on the ventilator until after the surgery, he is sleeping well with it, I just don't want a repeat of today. He did end up having another blood transfusion, so he'll be stronger for Thursday, his counts were low. They also suctioned out a ton of mucus from his mouth throat and lungs so he will be stronger without all that too. He's getting big. I wish I would have had my camera earlier today he looks so good, it looks worse here just cause of the angle he's at, but in all he's doing really well

Here are three different wing plans for Rev 1.2

At the bottom, you see the current Rev 1.1a main wing. It looks great except for one problem: the wing root on the trailing edge does not line up with the top of the rearmost window, leaving an annoying strip of Tan poking out. What's needed is to essentially scoot the trailing edge back by a stud. The two results (so far) are the two sides of the aircraft at the top.

In Dark Blue is the original Rev 1.2 wing. This tried to scoot the trailing edge back by scooting the leading edge up, forcing everything backward. Sadly, it still leaves the strip of Tan. The Rev 1.2 Test Type corrects this issue, but looks substantially more bulky than both the 1.1a and early 1.2 wings.

Work on the wing is the last part of Rev 1.2 but has proven to be the most frustrating!
