Petzval Triplet 940s
It was originally manufactured for standard 16mm film projectors or microfilm readers. Because of its uncoated or single-coated design, it provides a very classic, slightly soft, and swirly bokeh aesthetic

I just got her test results 3 hours ago....Nikki
has hyperthyroidism...she will have to take
pills on a strict schedule of 1 every 12 hrs.
She will have to be tested again to check
her levels after a couple of weeks. The
good news in all of this is that besides this
she is, she is quite healthy...especially for
being 16! The vet said her kidneys are in
great shape.....as well as her sugar levels and other functions:) I will be
talking more with her vet tomorrrow, I
was in the grocery store when she called and the vets office was getting ready to close for the night.....she knew how worried I was, so she called as soon as she received the results:) I have never
had to give Nikki a pill in 15 yrs....I just
hope she cooperates....every 12 hrs!!
I love her with all my soul....my angel:)
I will do anything I can for her....and I
will:) Thank you everyone for your endless support....I was crying reading
your comments and concerns for my
baby....I wish I had time to thank you
all personally....but you know who you
are! I love you guys....thank you from
the bottom of my heart:) I will keep you
all updated on Nikki's progress.
Your MacBook Air requires this update. The power cord must be connected to your MacBook Air and plugged into a working power source.

When the update is complete your MacBook Air will shut down. Wait one minute before restarting it.
i took some updated pictures so i would have something to submit for a contest vivariumforum.com is having. the water in the pond has been temporarily removed. ill be adding it back after i move
It is now 4.3 month since the upgrade commenced, and due to a great deal of rain and warm weather the garden has responded far better than expected, at this rate the plants will start to mature much earlier than expected, that of course makes me very happy to say the least :)

When I took my latest rack out of the jig and bolted it to a fork to fit the fork crown stay I discovered that the thing was not even close to level (exhibit A: this picture). I'd been having some trouble adjusting the old fork leg stay jig (a threaded rod brazed to a steel plate with a scribed centerline so I could line it up with the fork jig before clamping it into place) and this time around it fell /wildly/ out of place.
So it was time for a replacement; a section of 8020's smaller sibling, drilled crosswise to press-fit a section of threaded quarter-inch tubing, then drilled front to back to fit a couple of m6 bolts which are locked into place with a pair of brake shoe nuts.
It still needs a little alignment (the m6 bolt is a tiny bit narrower than the slot in the 8020, so I'll need to fabricate a couple of keel pieces to fit between the two chunks of aluminum) and I might want to braze a couple of diagonal braces to keep me from accidentally knocking the stubs of the tubing out of line but even as it is it's much more robust than the stay jigs I was using for the last 70 or so racks that have staggered out of my basement.
A slight update/revamp in the office.
New speakers, Edifier RT1700BTS, new audio interface, behringer UM2 which has really surprised me how good it is for the money as has my new mic, a BM800.
Other new additions to the office, a Raspberry Pi, 3 Pi 'cluster', the 5,1 Mac Pro is down from the loft running ProxMox with various work and home related VM's, its space in the loft has now been taken up by a Dell R710 setup basically as a NAS.
I also have a 2012 Mac Mini setup as a Plex server now hidden away in the unit on the right. Again for a fairly dated bit of kit, it performs really well.
I've also put some of my fountain pens and cameras out on a new shelf unit that I still need to stain.
The only thing I really want to replace now is the monitors. I want to replace them with a 49".
I may start using the Mac Pro for a daily machine with and push its services to the R710.
Me washing a backing strip off a cwb test plate, ordering a time lapse remote for my camera tomorrow hopefully I'll get to try it out sooner or later, been busy with school tests every week, mid term next week, not a lot of time in between to play with my camera but I'll try and get some new material up, thanks to those who leave feedback!
So guys, how are you today ?
I'm planning around 20 MOCs (like these ones) for a solo exposition in Brittany, France. It will be November 8th and 9th at St-Martin-Des-Champs, near Morlaix (29). I'll be representing BIONIFIGS.com there.
A small HF Invasion From Below diorama will be there too and I can show you only one side of this project. Heroes or Beasts ? You decide. My entry for the BFTGM Contest will be display as well, but only (or not) as a WIP.
Photos of all MOCs displayed will be posted after the exposition. 'Still got things to do for it, especially this week because it's my only holiday week.
That's all for now, see ya and let me know what you guys think of all this information !
It took alot of inductance to finally get it to load right. I also put a real blocking cap and placed a parasitic choke in the right place. Oh yeah, i put in a glitch resistor in it for tube protection as well.
So I finally had my bum ankle operated on.
The good news is that the operation went well. The bad news is that the damage to my ankle was worse than expected and I won't be able to put any weight on my leg for three months. And full recuperation will take 12-18 months.
Photo updates here will be necessarily curtailed as taking photos with both hands occupied operating crutches proves to be challenging (!). Perhaps if I got Google Glass - but as with this iPhone pic, I'd never be satisfied with the quality compared to my beautiful 6D :-(
If so it's an oddball, and notice the installation. Weird.
UPDATE: WCI made unit branded under kenmore.
The bubble level fitted to the now external, polar scope. Aligned the reticle on the horizontal mode and then adjusted level to the same position. Actually helps during setup leveling the mount in the horizontal plane.
