UP train ITDM or ITKC, I don't remember for sure, headed South on the BNSF at Foxboro. No mis-taking the heritage of this unit. 02/05/06
Okay the thing is with my #2 Gil is that his joints were unusually stiff and really emphasised how limited the joints were, especially since I intended for this Gil to wear kimono and kneel a bunch. I expected for a single joint to be limited but the fact is, Gil couldn’t even bend his knees far enough to kneel let alone make it look natural enough.
So I took a knife to the behind of his legs and carved out crescent moon shapes so more of his knee joint was exposed and his leg could bend enough for him to kneel naturally. Unfortunately, his legs are hollow plastic so if you carve out as much as I did, it WILL leave really unsightly holes. But since it’s behind his leg I don’t mind, plus he’s most likely to be wearing yukata to expose the knees.
This actually solved his knee joints being stiff so I carved out some plastic behind his ankle to be able to be en pointe and it’s easier to pose him.
I also took out some plastic from his elbows so he could touch his face better but I didn’t far enough as I wanted because his arms are also hollow plastic and I could see the plastic be really thin, which is sad since normal MH boy arms are hard vinyl.
However, I’m happy my Gil #2 can pose better now. My poor #1 Gil can’t keep up with him.

Union Pacific Railroad GTEL (Gas Turbine Electric Locomotive) 6 at Council Bluffs, Iowa on an unknown day in February 1963, photographer unknown (but it looks like Dick Rumbolz handwriting on the Kodachrome slide mount), Chuck Zeiler collection.
UP 6310, one of the final five patched ex-SP AC44CWs, is working in DPU service along with two already rebuilt C44ACMs, after being attached mid-train to the MPDRV at Eugene. Recently Union Pacific has announced another order of AC44CW rebuilds from Wabtec that this time seems like it will cover the rest of the entire fleet, meaning the final five will end up in fresh coats of yellow paint sooner rather than later. The location is McCredie Springs, on Union Pacific’s Cascade Subdivision in Oregon. Locomotive consist is UP 7978, 6822, and 9002 on the point, with UP 6310, 5743, and 6278 mid-train in DPU mode. The final five patched SP AC44CWs are UP 6236, 6310, 6318, 6378, and 6379. Picture taken November 16, 2025.

On thier reasons for editing
Anetta: I really wanted my photo to be plain black and white with a *Bang* to add some depth into. I really like how you can see the lace detail on the wall behind me.
Jenessa: I sorta wanted the same thing. I really love black and white, but I wanted mine to have a softer feel to it, and a hue of color.
On thier Hair
Jenessa: I wanted it to be elegant, but sleek and modern too. I so I came up with twisting the (my right) left side it, and pining back. Then the rest was pulled back, and then loose on the (my left ) right side. I kinda though of like a rapper or a black girl you would see in a magazine, with like only half her hair. It's sooo cool, but I dont have the guts to do it to myself.
Anetta: I wanted something totally different from Jennie's. I wanted it to be wild, and crazy. I wanted to have this huge bump, like some thing you'd see in a history book with the royals and thier tall wigs. So I had them give me this HUGE crazy bun on the side of my head, which only like half of my real hair, the rest was fake.
The Poses
Anetta: My hair was so heavy against my neck, that I ended up having to hold it. I figured, if I had to hold it, I'd make it look good. I also wanted the camera at a slight angle, because I think I look the best at an angle.
Jenessa: I wanted it to seem, like a real life photo shoot for like and Ad or something, so I had the camera stight on, and I tilted my and rest my hand up against it lightly.
Last Words
Jenessa: I love getting the chance to do my own full on photo shoot, it was really fun. It also showed me how hard everyone works behind the scenes.
Anetta: I agree with Jenners, this was really cool. And The workers all have my props now. I never knew how hard it was to get what you have in mind into a picture.
One of the last images from my Canon G11 test. Having said that, I've enjoyed using the camera so much that there's a good chance I'll continue to use it for a while yet.
I was trying to get a low-down close-up back-lit (got to love the hyphens) image of this leaf, and was ably assisted by both the vari-angle screen and 100% magnification manual focus functionality.
Quite happy with the results.

58007 'Drakelow Power Station' sits in Worksop Up yard, waiting to depart with an engineers train for Doncaster Up Decoy on 22nd March 1997.
One thing for certain, the sun sure sets really fast this time of year. Normally I'd be looking forward to sitting in a stand waiting for a monster buck to walk by, but thanks to the temps being too warm for that type of activity, I guess I'll have to settle for piss bricks on the UP.
Here we have this evenings fine image of a Tier-IV GEVO pulling a piss poorly loaded stack train. I guess I should be thankful that the UP sucks so bad, keeps my job safe.

The former iconic Jesuit Church in Limerick, Ireland - up for sale - again!

The (former) Sacred Heart Church is situated at the Crescent, on O'Connell Street, Limerick. It was completed in 1868 and opened to the public on January 27 1869. The architect of this church was William Corbett and the church is in the parish of St Joseph's. According to Murphy, it was originally intended to dedicate the church to St Aloysius but when it was dedicated in 1869 it was called the Church of the Sacred Heart. The façade of the church is Classical/Grecian in design. It was renovated in 1900. There are no aisles in the church but the nave has two rows of pews. The nave was extended in 1919.
As depicted in the photograph, the ceiling of the church is panelled with floriated ornaments in Stucco work. The high altar was designed by William Corbett and is made from 22 types of precious marble. On the floor around the high altar, there are the symbols of the four writers of the Gospels. The angel represents Matthew, the lion represents Mark while Luke and John are represented by the bull and eagle respectively.
Some of the stained glass windows throughout the church show the letters 'IHS'. These letters are the first three letters of the Greek word for Jesus which is IHSOUS. In Latin the letters stand for Jesus hominum salvator which translates as 'Jesus, Saviour of men'.
There are nine mosaics above the high altar. The central mosaic is of the Sacred Heart ascending in the presence of St Margaret Mary Alacoque and Blessed Claude la Colombiere. It is surrounded (from left to right) by depictions of St Francis Jerome, St Francis Borgia, St Francis Xavier, St Ignatius, St Stanislaus, St Aloysius, St John Berchmans and St Francis Regis.
The church formally closed in 2006.
