This photo belonged to my great, great Aunt Bessie Milligan (nee Richardson) I don't know his identity but I believe he may be her father in law.

Boston's Architect and Design community celebrated the end of summer last
night with Strategic Workspaces and DIRTT' s First Annual Cornhole
Tournament on Boston Harbor's Thompson Island. 75 of Boston's best
designers and architects hopped on a private ferry under spectacular
weather conditions and had a blast! It was a perfectly catered affair all
the way down to an awesome bon fire and smore's to cap off the night. This
is a Strategic Workspaces signature event to be held every summer and is
expected to double in size next year. Sign up early for 2015!!

Does anyone know which type of bird this is?
This little fellow collided with one of my apartment's windows and took a little break on my balcony to recover. The bird was so drowsy that it didn't even care that I was opening the door to make snapshots.
If you know which type of bird this is, please leave a comment.
I bought a "Pouva Start" on ebay (120film-sized 6x6 toy camera). There was still a film loaded called ORWO NP20. I shot the rest of that negative b&w film. But I didn't take this lovely picture!

I've seen this insect for the last three days in my small prairie. It looks like a bumble bee but it perches on top of Golden Rod and hunts like a robber fly. Anyone know what it is?
