Happy Sliders Sunday
As we drove the "17-Mile-Drive" on California's Monterey Peninsula, we came to this point that overlooked colorful foliage, a beach, Pacific Ocean surf, and an unknown golf course . . . it seemed to express our pleasure about the entire drive.
I expect this would be called a weed. But the plant produced lots of wind-ready fruit, and it looked elegant, for a weed.

A rainy day on an unknown road. The picture was taken from inside the car. The car wipe made this beautiful paint-like effect!
The partner of this lady was also there when I took this shot… we had a very good conversation… he turned out to be a professional photographer l!

This scene captured my attention because of the simple randomness of the trees. The subtle blues and yellows I saw in the background seemed to suit this ICM interpretation of the section of trail we were hiking. It also feels like I can walk right into the scene. There is no order to the scene and yet it looks welcoming to me.
There's mixed reviews on this hawk. Thoughts are mixed between a Red-Shoulder and Red-Tailed..... or even a possible hybrid.

I am fascinated with the grace and balance of this work ...
our shadows will be ,probably, rowing in our favorite places many years after our missing. sometimes they wonder where and how they want in our presence
The ocean has always felt like this wild and beautiful place to me. The last great unknown, a place we can't really study like the surface. Also the way life is tied to water fascinates me. Maybe anywhere in the galaxy water exists in some form life can also exist?
The cows in the pasture were the only spectators. Although the photo was taken in Germany, you might think that it could have been photographed in the UK.
