Dave Thomas (@pragdave) describes the evolution of tacit knowledge and how craftsmen should teach junior developers.
This is perhaps my second- or third-oldest lipstick. It definitely dates from the '90s and long ago lost its identifying lid and label. I think it came from a $2 shop. I mainly wear it as 'period lipstick' when I'm going to a '90s theme party but I thought I'd give it a go today to match the fuschia in my dress (PS this is the dress I bought Rimmel Shocking Pink to match). It goes on much pinker than it looks in the tube, and has a very cheap, gritty, waxy texture.
This bug was on the car next to mine in a car park in south Manchester, can anyone help me to identify what it is?
What do you feel when you're alone? Loneliness and sadness. Mostly. That's why i couldn't leave this flower alone and it was the reason i've taken this photo.
I don not know the name of this flower - My friend's mother has a lot of plants whose names I do not know.

Update 4th June 2011:
Sadly this little fellow didn't make it. R.I.P.
Seen growing out of the base of a tree in the Kent countryside. I am not certain but think it may be a money plant?
Thanks to Ronaldo who tells me it is indeed Lunaria annua, or honesty or money plant, depending on where in the world you are!
MY THANKS TO ALL WHO VISIT AND COMMENT IT IS APPRECIATED,
