Grave of an unknown person in the Ocotillo Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona...

The Ocotillo Cemetery was established in 1916. It was located within the largely Hispanic community of Goodyear...the community had previously been known as "Cotton City" and "Little Egypt." Most of the citizens of this community were farm laborers who worked on the 8,000 acre cotton farm owned by the Goodyear Tire Company. The harvested cotton was woven into fiber that was used in making tires.

In the late 1940's, the Goodyear Company moved its operations west of the city of Phoenix and the once thriving community eventually disappeared. In the early 2000's, the land surrounding the cemetery was purchased by the developer, Fulton Homes. The developer constructed a wall around the cemetery replete with a gate and a sprawling suburban community on all sides. The manicured grass, shady streets, and tidy yards are a far cry from the open cotton fields that once surrounded the cemetery.

The cemetery, itself, is not owned by the developer and is in a bad state of disrepair. It is the final resting place of over 200 people. The final burial took place in 2009....

I'm searching for help in identifying this lens.

Very specific is the halfmoon shaped mask on the frontlens.

Is this a lens from i.e. a copier or from a camera ?

The frontlens has a diameter of about 62 mm.

I think it's an triple element lens because i can observe 3 reflections of i.e. a lamp. Glass has a blue haze so is probably coated.

The lensbarrel is about 70mm long and has 1 inner and 1 outer thread.

The outer thread has a diameter from about 80mm.

No identification text but only a small, handwritten, sticker stating "12.7".

The weight is about 740 grams.

This one smells good, too. Someone gave us this plant about 25 years ago, and it's a real beauty.
