(Isterfossen, Norway) - I tested my winter outfit for real today. Both my new Northface pants and boots were perfect - and my socks were even dry afterwards despite wading for 15 minutes in semi deep snow in the forest. There is really no excuse to stay inside. All you need is the right clothes - and I admit, that means A LOT of clothing.

To get an idea, for about one hour in -23 Cs I had:

3 undershirts. 2 wool and 1 semi-synthetic wool. One was a new Xmas present from Brynje. www.brynje.no/. Pretty good stuff.

P.S. Buy those shorts...they are pretty much AMAZING.

So this is The Question. He's mostly based on the old Justice League cartoon. I took an old figure from the Indiana Jones theme. I painted the undershirt yellow and the tie red with a blue coat over it. Then I painted an Indiana Jones hat blue. And finally I erased the face off of a head to finish it. Let me know what you guys think of it in the comments.

Ahem, anyway. It was so very tempting to do one pic for Nightingale and Wulfric just like I did with the twins. But also wrong cause they are not twins. So they got two seperate pics together to signify that they are super close as if they were twins. FML.

Nightingale is the only one who got married off by Pazuzu to secure an alliance. To be fair, she asked him first and he was okay with it (Wulfric was not, he moped around the house for months - and we are talking about a grown man who had a job pretty far away from his mother and her house. Imagine Pazuzu's joy to having a huge bulky blonde man sulking in her shadow and turning sad puppy eyes at her 24/7).

Matisse painted The Young Sailor in 1906, at the height of his involvement with the Fauves. The sitter of this picture is an eighteen-year-old fisherman, Germain Augustin Barthélémy Montargès, from the small Mediterranean village of Collioure, near the Spanish border. Against the flat, bright pink background, Germain wears typical fisherman's garb: a navy blue cap, a pullover over a white undershirt and blue-and-pink striped jersey, baggy green pants, green-and-white checked socks, and sturdy, laced-up shoes with rubber soles. His broad face is flat and mask-like, and the contours of his rounded limbs are crisp and defined, creating a sharp contrast to the loose brushstrokes that constitute them. Here she is! She has to be one of my favorite dolls at the moment. ;) Ever since I saw this specific concept art for Anna, I knew that she had to have a doll. It took me a few months to find the perfect doll for the job, and it was oddly enough already a Anna clone doll from Japan. She had her face repainted with rooted eyelashes, and a custom made dress.Her body was also really, REALLY bad, so she got rebodied onto an obitsu body which is much better. Her dress was my first time making an outfit for this kind of doll, and to be honest, it might be one of the cleanest I've ever made. LOL! The dress is made up of three pieces- a blue undershirt with a fur collar, a tan suede dress that has blue, copper, and white suede stripes which is held on her with a lace up, and a copper suede corset, which is also a lace up. Her dress is lined with copper colored silk. She also has brown suede bloomers, leg wraps, and handmade shoes. Overall, one of my favorite dolls, and I couldn't be happier with her!

Believe it or not, the sheer black dress shirt was purchased online through Macy's. I've always thought the sight of a man wearing a sheer shirt through which you could see his white athletic undershirt is SO SUPER-SEXY! That's the look I'm trying to emulate here. You be the judge as to whether or not I've succeeded.

Well, Just You Wait! - Nu, pogodi!, also known as I'll get you! in official translations, is a Soviet and Russian series of animated short films produced by Soyuzmultfilm. In the 2014 all-Russian poll, Well, Just You Wait! won by a wide margin as people's favourite cartoon/animated series of all time.

The series follows the comical adventures of Wolf (Волк), trying to catch – and presumably eat – Hare (Заяц). It features additional characters that usually either help the hare or interfere with the Wolf's plans. The original film language is Russian, but very little speech is used, usually interjections or at most several sentences per episode. The series' most common line is the eponymous "Nu, pogodi!", yelled by the wolf when his plans fail. It also includes many grunts, laughs, and songs.

The Hare, commonly transliterated into English as Zayats (Russian: Заяц), is portrayed as a supposedly positive hero. He is less developed than the Wolf, and most of his actions are simply reactions to the Wolf's schemes. In later episodes, the role of the Hare becomes more active and developed, and he even manages to save the Wolf on several occasions. The Hare is portrayed as a percussionist in a number of episodes. The character was originally voiced by Klara Rumyanova.

The Hare is often mistaken as a female due to his appearance and voice; however, the Hare's sex is never explicitly indicated. The Russian word for hare, заяц (zayats), is of masculine gender. The female equivalent is зайчиха (zaychikha).

The Hare is almost always seen wearing the same green T-shirt over a sleeveless white turtleneck and dark green shorts, unlike the Wolf's ever-varying wardrobe. There are rare exceptions, however: in the prologue of Episode 8, he appears in an ice-skating outfit, and later on in the same episode, he is dressed with intentional absurdity as the grandfatherly Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost), the silliness of which is only heightened by the Wolf then appearing as his granddaughter, Snegurochka, also known as the Snow Maiden.

The Wolf, commonly transliterated into English as Volk (Russian: Волк), is initially portrayed as a hooligan who eagerly turns to vandalism, abuses minors, breaks laws, and is a smoker. His appearance was inspired by a person the director Vyacheslav Kotyonochkin saw on the street, specifically a man with long hair, a protruding belly, and a thick cigarette between his lips.[4] The character was originally voiced by Anatoli Papanov.

His most common line throughout the series when things are not going as he expected is "Nu, pogodi!" At the end of an episode (and at the end of the pre-title introduction), the Wolf usually exclaims the series' titular phrase, "Nu, Zayats... Nu, pogodi!" which translates as "Well, Hare... Well, just you wait!".

In spite of his rough appearance, many of the Wolf's attempts to catch the Hare are often characterized by unexpected abilities on his part (including figure skating, ballet, gymnastics, and waltzing) for humorous contrast. He can also play the guitar very well and rides a powerful rocker motorbike. In the first episode, while climbing a high building to catch the Hare, the Wolf whistles the popular mountaineer song, "A Song About a Friend" (a signature song of Vladimir Vysotsky). In spite of these talents, most of the Wolf's schemes eventually fail or turn against him.

During the late Soviet and post-Soviet era, however, the Wolf gradually became more buffoonish than menacing. In the last episode (#20), for example, the Wolf is seen chewing a lollipop instead of smoking and his drawing style is reminiscent of new Russian cartoons (Russian: Новые русские мультфильмы) rather than the old Soviet slapstick genre. The Wolf became increasingly timid or even outright cowardly during this time period, contrasting sharply with his initially "macho" persona and actor's voice.

The Wolf's most characteristic piece of clothing is his bell-bottoms which can ambiguously be either part of the naval uniform or the 1970s fashion. He is most often seen in a pink shirt with a yellow necktie, but occasionally (Episode 7) appears in a naval undershirt (telnyashka) and in Episode 8, he appears in drag, impersonating the Snegurochka. In Episode 11 he wears a jacket in the beginning, but soon removes it when chasing the Hare. Not infrequently, he loses most of his clothes during the chase, going on in his chintz underpants only (those are a realistic depiction of Soviet-style underwear), though in episode 6, he retains only his shirt and pulls it down to cover up his "naked" hindquarters. Humorously, all of his clothing below the waist has a special opening for his tail.

In Episodes 1–16 the Wolf's hairstyle is basically unchanged, though in Episode 14 his hair gets briefly done in a style not unlike Elvis Presley's. In Episode 17 he wears a ponytail, and in Episode 18 his forelock is cropped and the mullet is tied into a ponytail. However, in the three final episodes he resumes his earlier hairstyle of episodes 1–16.

The second I lay eyes on this picture, I had to have it. Long johns, undershirts, gitch, towels and whatever else is on that line just shouted out to me. I am also very fond of the window bays on the top floor. Just a strangely familiar feel to this picture. I didn't grow up in an apartment so I can't say why. This is the first of 10 photos I took today, Friday, 10 July A.D. 2026, as a photo session I've titled "Portraits of a Man in Coffee-Brown Sheer Nylon".

In this session I start out wearing brown walking shorts and even a brown Stetson Fedora, with coffee-brown sheer nylon pantyhose with a matching coffee-brown sheer nylon athletic undershirt ... then move to wearing only the pantyhose and undershirt. I also transition from being inside my home office to being in a shady corner of our backyard, where the 93-degree heat of the late afternoon isn't too oppressive.

I need to ask, what color do you want the undershirt painted? At the moment it is just plain dk tan paint but I can change that to any color you like.

If you could have seen my living room when I did this shoot, you wouldn’t even think I knew what OCD stood for. Good lord love a duck! Looked like a circus threw-up in here.

OK, here’s it goes......

(In no order of relevance)

1.Laundry & Hangers I give a whole new meaning to wash with like colors and there’s no such thing as just lights & darks. How the process flows: a) fill washer halfway, b) add soap, c) run empty for 30-90 seconds to mix in soap, d) add delicates (underwear, socks, undershirts or any garment with more than 60% of direct contact with smelly regions of the body) and let run for half the cycle, e) add non-delicates, f) reset cycle back to the start g) select the proper water level according to the new load and g) ensure the extra rinse cycle is selected. Hangers are exclusively reserved for the following: Wooden: jeans & slacks. Plastic: shirts with collars (long or short sleeve) Wire: T-shirts ONLY.. And I do hang-up my undershirts FYI.

2.Paperclips & Binder Clips Will ONLY use the non-skid small paperclips -PERIOD. I will sort through my stash looking for non-qualified paperclips that might of perpetrated their way in there and immediately discard with convection. Will only use the small binder clips. If I have paperwork requiring more girth, I will send it to have it bound.

3.Toilet Paper The roll MUST be installed on the holder in a manner allowing the TP to roll off the top and not from the bottom up. I will actually flip a non-conforming roll around if I’m at someone’s house. Also, always keep one roll on the holder and one under the sink (safety stock).

4.Level If it hangs on the wall, it must be properly calibrated with at least a dual bubble level and recalibrated regularly.

5. Floors If I step into my kitchen and step on something I can feel through my socks, I will scream like a woman just saw a rat run across the same floor. This goes for carpet as well.

6.Taskbar At minimum, I have seven windows open on my work computer throughout the day. THEY MUST BE IN ORDER FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. If one accidentally gets closed, I will shut everything down and reopen in the correct order.

7.Ice I cannot stand (loathe entirely) machine made ice for my adult beverages. The way I get around this is I use a 12 count muffin pan. Yes, there’s a muffin pan in my freezer right now full of ice.

8.Weather Wake-up everyday and won’t leave the house until I’ve completely read the morning forecast discussion from NOAA. I have three thermometers for accurate averaging and to cross check & verify.

9.Highlighters Yellow is only used for personal use and rarely used in the traditional sense. I MUST have my Orange, Green & Blue highlighters within arms reach at all times. Orange depicts pending issue, Blue indicates pending client response and green depicts the sh*t show is over.

Great idea, Chimp!!!! This was a blast and encouraged some good soul searching!!!! And yes, those are bubbles in the background... The DOF ended before the plume of bubbles passed behind me.. :-P
