Out and in if possible the same day because there's a hurry. The SRT - State Railways of Thailand promised that on November 1st the trains to the North would run again. An excuse banner in front of the station telling it will be postponed by another month. And another, and another I am afraid but I can be wrong though the signs are there. There's an old phrase mainly used by expats living in this country: TIT - This Is Thailand.

Workers used the crane to pull an air compressor out of the box. This is a very common activity, but was still interesting to watch a heavy object being effortlessly lifted by an incrediby quiet crane.

Traveling on the Karakoram Highway was an overwhelmed experience for the first time. Chinese constructors were working everywhere to widen the Road.

The Highway was full of majestic sharp-edged mountains, far away valleys which could be seen very small from the road and the great Chinese Bridges.

 

The Journey was quite tiring due the the construction of the road but the views and the valleys were worth a visit.
