Ava has this weird way of blinking one eye at a time. She also has a pronounced underbite and her upper lip frequently gets all stuck up in there.
So, this is how she rolls.
Notice the lone tooth sticking out on the right.
With the underbite she kind of looks like the dog from "The NeverEnding Story".

In this undated hand out photo, Sebastian, a Persian cat with long black hair, sports gold crowns on his two large teeth, which grew sticking out from his lips in an underbite similar to a bulldog's. Concerned that his cat's exposed teeth could be damaged, Dr. David Steele a dentist from Alexandria, Ind., had gold crowns made for his cat pet. There are two kinds of alpacas. These are Huacaya alpacas, (pronounced Wuh-kai-ya). Huacayas are fluffy like teddy bears and Suris have long shiny locks like very soft, slightly curly hair. Alpacas are bred specifically for their fiber. High quality fleece from both species fetches top dollar on the international market. Some hand spinners like to spin alpaca fiber mixed with cotton, wool or Silk. Alpaca fiber is used for making knitted and woven items, similar to wool. These items include blankets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, ponchos, sweaters, socks, coats, bedding, and a wide variety of textiles.

And so does Mr. Sir. And Ms. Brindle. They also need names since I'm having this feeling that finding homes for them will take a while.
They are three chow mixes (I think siblings). That someone dumped out near a friends house. I guess I'm going to try and find them a home. And will probably be making lots of trips to his house to get them to where they trust me enough to put a leash over their head, so that when I do find someone to take them, it won't be a struggle.
The fact that they were dumped out makes me depressed and want to loose faith in humanity (believe it or not I believe in the GOOD in people), but then I remember that my friend has kind neighbors willing to drop food off for them every day and water as well (though I'll probably bring that with me as well, since they were out). Which is good because it keeps them in the area while I try to find someone to take them. I have to get in touch with the neighbors though and see what they are planning to do with them. Because like I told my friend, I don't want to just take them and not tell them what happened to them. I want them to know that they have homes and are safe. And that their act of compassion was a good thing.
A piebald deer is a deer with a brown and white spotting pattern which is not caused by parasites or diseases. They can appear to be almost entirely white. In addition to the non-standard coloration, other differences have been observed: bowing or Roman nose, overly arched spine (scoliosis), long tails, short legs, and underbites. - Source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deer
A Beagle won Best In Show of the Westminster Kennel Club for the very first time this week. My old Beagle died about 10 years ago. He was bred to be a show dog but if he hadn't had an underbite he never would have been sold to us. He lived to be 16. In honor of Beagles everywhere - I thought I'd post an old snap of my friend.
The Inman aligner is used to treat the front teeth only.
With all of the advancements made in dentistry this past decade, it is more surprising to see a person with crooked and misaligned teeth now than it was a few years ago.
There are various treatments available to those who want to get their teeth straightened and looking good.
In our fast-paced society, people want results as fast as possible.
Although it is rare, in the world of dentistry there is a treatment that is fast, yet also extremely effective for realigning your teeth.
If this sounds like the type of cure for your teeth that you are looking for, then you’ll want to look into getting Inman Aligner braces.
Inman Aligner
Inman Aligner in Sydney is quite a popular choice of braces today.
Not only will they help realign your teeth, but they will also cure problems caused by misalignment such as overbite and underbite.
These braces are applied to upper and lower front teeth, like traditional ones, except there is a lot less metal involved.

Hi everyone! My name is Marjorie! Don't let the serious face fool you, I am a happy girl with a friendly, loving personality. I am an absolute delight and a couch potato in the making. I am about 4 years old and I weigh 45 lbs. I love taking walks and playing in the yard. When playtime is over, I am perfectly content to lounge and spend time with my people. I love being petted and scratched. I have the best underbite - so much personality that I make people smile all the time. When it's time for cuddles, I will lean in and melt into you for affection and a well-deserved belly rub. I just love to love. I also like to roll in the grass, meet new humans and wag my tail so hard that it hits me in the belly. I like treats a lot - any kind, any time, any place. I will sit on command like a good girl. I will chase a ball, tag it with my nose, then it's your job to go get it; afterall, you're the one who threw it. I walk pretty well on a leash -- I have places to go and friends to meet. I am very interested in playing with other dogs. I haven't met a "cat" yet, but if you have cats, I know a couple hoomans that would temperament test me. Come on people, help a girl out and get me a home! Please and thank you, because I am polite as can be. Please give me a chance to become part of your family! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance and microchip. Apply online at www.pawsforliferescue.org
