Steve is recuperating from surgery to correct his severe underbite. This is a little before and after montage.

While I haven't posted in many many months, I do miss my Flickring...and especially The Daily Snap! Hoping to get my camera situation figured out soon. (These images were captured on my phone. So sad.)

Two weeks after he powerchain and new wires. My bottom teeth are now in front of my uppers due to my underbite. This will continue to become more apparent until I have surgery to correct it.

We took Daisy to the vet yesterday for her annual vaccinations and check up. She has just turned two years old. The vet said that, at 4.1 kg, she is the ideal weight and is exactly how a cat should look :o) ... he also said that, due to her spherical head and the roundness of her ears, that she might have some Scottish Fold mixed into her breeding, and that her teeth have an underbite which make chewing bones difficult, so we are going to have to keep an eye on that.

Roscoe.....our "street bum" canine "child". It is hard to believe that the people who owned him moved, left him to fend for himself. He had a daily route for food.....he knew which houses to go to for each meal. He was dirty, smelly and in bad need of a haircut. Each time we visited our friends he seemed to appear out of nowhere and we took it as a sign that he was meant to have a home with us. He's so sweet and lovable......and is now living the good life....as evidenced by the fact that he was given permission to cuddle on Mom's afghan! We found later that his original name was "Pudgy" (yuck!). His snaggle- tooth underbite made him a Roscoe to us soooooo that's what he became. He didn't have any problem with our choice. What's that saying, "call me anything, just be sure to call me for dinner"? (smile) He didn't have a bit of trouble adapting to his new "handle."

I really liked the sculpt of Abbey's cheeks, and even though her jaw juts out into a slight underbite, it adds a sort of jaunty anger or frustration to the expression.

I thought i would update you all on how her ear is healing up, and i must say that it is good news!

I have spent 2 weeks now cleaning her ear 2 times a day and putting medication in her her fungus and yeast infection, her ear looked horrible and very painful, she had sores all through it and it was just awful...

On Monday when i woke up to clean her ear however, i barely got any gunk out of it, and it has that healthy light white/ pink colour back! She just has one little sore left to heal and she will be back to her old self! I will keep putting the meds. in till next Sunday just to make sure it is definitely all gone though!

I trimmed her bangs again, I saw that in her last picture she was looking VERY straggly and in desperate need of a trim! It seems that i have to trim them every other week to every week now, they just grow so fast!

5 Reasons Why You Might Need Braces.

1.) Overbite

2.) Underbite

3.) Open Bite

4.) Spacing

5.) Crowding

Ask our orthodontists if you qualify for Invisalign® if you believe that wearing traditional metal braces on your teeth will make you feel self-conscious. Invisalign uses practically invisible aligners that fit over your teeth, as the name implies. By applying pressure to your teeth, these aligners cause them to gradually migrate into their final placements.

Even with Invisalign braces, we can correct bite problems, albeit you might need SmartForce® attachments. These attachments, which push against your aligners, are tiny, tooth-colored bumps that we bond to your teeth.

I just gave him a bang trim so he can see again.

This little guy's T says VOTE. And I think his underbite means he's serious.

I was just out playing with Boots. Its getting dark but i managed to get this photo. We play for 2 hours a day. And she is always hyper no matter how much she runs!!

And yes...Now i have cut the bangs. She is much happier without them, shes looking at things with a whole new sight!

Love this guys underbite almost as much as his tongue.

Liver-colored nose, green eyes, huge underbite, small head, pooh-poohed by the breeder - joke's on them, she was our dog of a lifetime. A pure soul who could look into your heart daily.

We were initially put off by Molly's underbite freaked us out. But when we met her--her temporary name was Filly--we really liked her energy and she turned out to be a really classy-looking first-parity brindle girl. We took her home that day.

She got the name Molly in the car on the way home--we later quibbled on names, giving her "Ida", then Sarah got the feeling we should go back to Molly. I was a little less keen on Molly because it's the #4 most popular name in the US for females. Edith likes Molly. Oscar sticks with Ida. It's all good.

Technical difficulties made most of my goat pictures not turn out, but boy were they cute. This goat with an underbite was particularly charming.
