In May and June 1942 the war was brought home to Australians on the east coast when the Japanese attacked Sydney Harbour from the sea.
Since then two midget submarines were recovered from Sydney Harbour and a composite was constructed using the bow section of one and the stern of the other. It is now displayed at the Australian War Memorial

This is a funny story. This is my only large cat who will let the kitten play with him like this. The others just hiss and put up with him. He chases them all the time trying to attack them. Fuzzem is Scary's buddy.

Damage on all eggplant is increasing, but the good news is they seem to be attracting the flea beetles which may keep them away from the crops more desirable to me (potatoes, tomatoes and peppers). I sprayed the accidental "trap crop" with insecticidal soap tonight.
