On Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, a funeral was held for Maj. Brent Taylor at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah. Following the ceremony, a procession traveled from the Dee Events Center to the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden, where family, friends and Servicemembers attended a dignified military funeral with full honors and a graveside dedication.

On Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, an open-to-the-pubic viewing was held for Utah National Guard Soldier, Maj. Brent Taylor, at the Weber State College's Dee Event Center in Ogden, Utah, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tripler Fisher House sponsers an 8k run aboard Ford Island to remember the fallen - Hero and Remembrance Run. There is a boot with an American Flag and the photo and name of every service member that lost their life in combat since 9/11. What an emotional sight to see thousands of boots lining the street.
