A male bird photographed at Uppsala, Sweden on January 24th 2012. A rarity in europe, currently irrupting into Sweden due to the failure of the russian Larch cone crop in 2011. Generally a hard to photograph species making this one of my very best images...

Tandem bike rentals are popular in Visby, Gotland. It's a good way to see the city and some of the surrounding area.
Last weekend I went on my annual camping trip to Two Harbors, MN. We took an afternoon and drove up the North Shore to see the sights. Gooseberry Falls was spectacular as there were recent rain storms in Minnesota. It was also crowded with lots of people. The real challenge was trying to take interesting photos where I didn't have 10 million people in the shot too. What do you think? Did I succeed?

Last Saturday was Liv's 2nd birthday. I am not sure she understood what was going on, but we had a big ol' coconut cake and coconut-pineapple ice cream. 2!

Two.S.Doll Mayi Sweet Dream
I love this Doll. She was really what i was looking for for my character. She is really cute and she's got half closed eyes.
Her faceup is gorgeous, even if it is the standard one. They put even some glitter on it. I don't like pink but i think that really suits her, because she's a romantic girl.
Medusa was an OC... of when i was really young (about 9 i think) and she usually dress bride-like dress because she hope that someday she will meet someone that will not became a stone in front of her.

Calrailfans Virgilia Camp, 23-24 June 2018.
Our Virgilia camp out was the weekend of 23-24 June this year, with some people there a day or two before. The dogs and I just went up Saturday and came back Sunday, so we did not have as long of a stay as some people.
I swung by Roseville and got a few photos of trains in the yard and a train waiting to get into the yard off the Valley Sub. Then it was on to Marysville, where we stopped for lunch and I shot a southbound autorack train that was switching from the Sacramento to Valley Sub.
Then it was on through the valley heat to the Feather River Canyon and Virgilia.
On the way there, we stopped at Rock Creek to cool off in the river. A southbound BNSF train showed up while we were wading and I got photos of its power on the bridge.
When we arrived at Virgilia, Paul and Dave were hanging out, while several other guys were up exploring the High Line. Paul helped me set up the tent.
The other guys came back and we sat around chewing the fat for a while. ATCS indicated a BNSF train was coming up the canyon and several of us debated on whether it would get to a good spot before the shadows fell. 2 of us eventually went down to the west end of Serpentine Canyon just above Rich Bar and waited. We were rewarded with 4 BNSF units in gorgeous light. I followed the train back to Virgilia, where it took the siding for a meet with a southbound. I continued up the canyon getting the train at Keddie in the blue hour, then on a trestle on the side of the hill near Paxton before joining the photo line up at Virgilia for the train with the moon rising above it.
Morning brought one BNSF northbound, which I got at Keddie, on the trestle next to the highway just south of Quarry Road, where crews change on northbounds.
After breakfast, there was nothing coming west or south for a while, so after visiting for a while, I packed up camp and headed for home, stopping at a beach across from Pulga for our afternoon cool off.
Good trip. Next year, maybe I'll be able to take Friday off and have another day there.

Luminaria Take Two as the worlds of dance, video art, multimedia, and experimental film collide indoors and outdoors at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts on 24 Feb 2016! Performances included Texas’ own San Antonio Jazz Ensemble, dancer/choreographer Seme Jatib, contemporary troupe A’lante Flamenco, and New York-based OUI DANSE presented brand-new work, while Andro-Ray, homegrown techno wizard and dancing robot, lit up the outdoor River Plaza. smu.gs/1mZLDLf
Our students expanded their knowledge of Python by learning about lists. We started off this morning learning about basic lists but by the afternoon we were making two dimensional lists. They will use what they learned about lists to make a tic-tac-toe game. Our students are very eager to participate which has created an excellent classroom environment.
This design would be ~22,000 capacity, with two levels of suites (which help pay for the construction and have a world-class view) and a 3rd story terrace level for views east of the hills and campus.
A Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth, named Poco, climbing. These sloths spend almost all of their time hanging from branches to eat leaves, fruit, and other items and to help avoid predators.
Seen at the Creature Conservancy in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which has a two-toed sloth breeding program.
