The met life blimp is in town for a couple of golf tournaments and they have it moored in a field right next to where I live. I hope to get some night shots in the morning around 3:30 a.m. on my way to work since it is lit internally at night.

I may have been trespassing when I shot this, but there were no signs, and nobody ran me off.

Day 284 of 365 (Year Two)
We watched an episode of Batman today and Poe got all excited thinking he had the perfect Halloween costume. I fell asleep and when I woke up he had done this to us. I'm not entirely sure how he did it, but I'm hoping he can undo it! I explained to him/me that he couldn't use me as part of his costume.
These magnificent roses burst into bloom here at the end of October. Just as if it was a last attempt of glory before winter. It was blowing a gale, and they were bending over, so I decided to cut them down. They were all on the one stem. Quite amazing !
After I had cut them, I tried something a little "arty", please see the next two photographs in the "Steam" !

“Keith Summers Gathering”, Musical Traditions Folk Club, www.englishfolkinfo.org.uk/mustrad/mtc.html.
Keith Summers (1948-2004) founded (sometimes with others) a magazine, record label and Club, all with the name Musical Traditions. He left a bequest to fund an annual festival. This was the first time I had attended since the first one in 2005, and this Saturday evening session was just one of several between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
There were six invited singers at this session (Roisin White, Rosie Stewart, Kevin Mitchell, Jim MacFarland, Ellen Mitchell, Jerry O’Reilly). All are fairly regular visitors to London Folk Clubs (I’ve seen all of them several times before apart from O’Reilly who I’d seen just once).
Country: Ireland. Style: Traditional Irish Folk.
Lineup: Roisin White (v).
Roisin White is from Co. Down and now lives in West Clare. She has two albums on the Veteran label.
