These two young Mallard Ducklings appear to have virtually reared themselves on the Bridgewater Canal. I did see Mum with three and then just three and now only two, but the survivors seem to be thriving and looking out for each other.
These past few days we have lost Dame Angela Lansbury and beloved Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane.
Angela Lansbury was best know for her long running TV series, Murder She Wrote, as well as a glorious film career in which she was nominated for three Academy Award (Gaslight, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Manchurian Candidate). I remember watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks many times as a youngster.
Robbie Coltrane was a three time BAFTA winner for his role as Fitz in Cracker. He was well known for playing Hagrid in all eight Harry Potter movies as well as Valentin Zukovsky in the James Bond films, Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough.
RIP to both of these acclaimed actors. Lansbury was 96; Coltrane was 72.
This shot was taken last week in Tamworth, Staffs. We were driving along and i saw these two trees on the top of a hill. Obviously we had to stop.

Two Rambler Americans are part of a Christmas display in the late afternoon in Queen Creek Arizona. It's been many a year since I've seen two Ramblers adjacent to one another.
By 4 years after this photo was taken, the adjacent road was widened to 2 lanes in each direction with concrete curbs and pavement covering much of the grassy area at the lower right.
They look proud ad regal, however, in Winter flowers are grown in green-houses, in different countries, the are transported, from hot to cold to warm and cold... planes, trains, lorries... the tender blooms inevitably get damaged.
I have yet to encounter the ‘perfect’ flower!
Some flowers are more resilient of course, like these two, only slightly blemished.
My flowers and I are in full communication again!
They speak, I listen, with my eyes. LOL
It is said that: Art is Expression of the imagination?

Four 30 second exposures combined on camera with the mulit-exposure function.
Pants and shoes got soaked during the final exposure, will bring proper shoes next time. Not the most exciting composition since i couldnt get to close without getting wet ;)

Two Steps lagoon is a natural aquarium with an abundance of tropical fish and sea life. The lava flows here cooled and left an amazing underwater reef covered with beautiful coral formations.
Named Two Step because anywhere you are here, your only two steps from the water.

My nephew attended the Montreal Comic Con last week. He went there personifying Two-Face, the famous supervillain from Batman. He wanted to have his disguise immortalised. We did a very funny photo shoot.
