From some angles, the two peaks on the left look just like camels. Perhaps one of them looks a little bit like a camel from this angle. The winter snow tells us it isn't though :-) Beautiful scenery and touring, whatever

Two 35's in the form of Silverton Alco ST35, originally 4843 still wearing its NSW candy scheme and National Rail's BL35 are stabled at Tailem Bend on 28-12-1996 waiting on thier next banking job over the Adelaide Hills

I'm not really sure what a "two-toned dream" would be, but the term got stuck in my head, so there you go. I would have called it "Fire & Ice", but one of my contacts, Aaron Reed, has a similarly colorful and more impressive shot called that, and I didn't want to steal it. No, don't go look at it, or you won't be as impressed with mine. :)
Another shot from Golden Gardens the other weekend. As the sunset intensified, I watched the color creep across the sky, and when it lined up nicely with these rocks, I took the shot. Okay, maybe I'm impatient and took 20 or 30 others in the meantime, but this was what I was going for. I have to admit, I did boost the saturation in the blue channel a bit to make the two tones more apparent, but for the most part, this is natural.

Two Norfolk Southern Railway trains meet at what railroaders called Devine Junction in Columbia, South Carolina. The name harkens back to when this area was filled with warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
The rock train is on the W Line waiting for NS local train P75 which is on the R Line heading south.
In the past 20 years, DV has morphed into the Greek Village for the University of South Carolina. It was probably a really good idea to mix college students and freight trains.
These two classic VW Beetles are both owned by enthusiasts who are young men. I have seen the owner of the mottled one actually doing his own mechanical work, a trait that has dwindled within the last generation or two.
I see that both have given in to the temptation to mount a luggage rack on top, something that was rarely seen on Beetles in the day!
