tweaking with my pattern still. this is my first attempt. i think it's cute, but i want to try again making it not so chubby.

this is a tweaked picture of the algae blooms, but they did actually look this bright and green in the sunlight. the camera captured them less vividly than they actually looked.

Not sure what I think of this. The plain and simple DB7 was a beautiful car, tweaking it and retro-fitting the racey yellow nose of the DBR9 just seems kinda wrong - in the same way that people fitting the alloys from the latest series of BMW to an older series just never looks quite right.

Still, his car, his choice *shrugs*.

1983 Porsche 956 in the paddocks of the CRAA 2014 Classic Race in Aarhus, Denmark.

Driver for this event was Søren Dybholm, participating in the show-class "Le Mans & Prototypes"

There were two Porsche 956 entered for CRAA 2014. Unfortunately they both stayed in the paddocks for most of the show races, which was a huge disappointment for many fans. To make matters even worse, they were mostly - unlike the majority of other cars - hidden behind rolled down "curtains", like on this photo, where you could only get a "sneak peak" from the side. The lack of participation from these two cars (the other one is hiding in the background here), was perhaps the biggest letdown of the whole event.

Originally driven by John Fitzpatrick and Derek Warwick for the John Fitzpatrick Racing team in the 1983 World Endurance Championship season (C1 class). The team was the first privateers to enter Porsche 956s and their tweaks worked so well that they managed to beat the factory entries at the Grand Prix International 1000 km at Brands Hatch and take the overall win. They also raced at Le Mans, this time Fitzpatrick partnered with David Hobbs and Dieter Quester in the number 11, but retired after 135 laps, so teamowner Fitzpatrick switched to the sister car, number 16 and secured an overall 5th place.

A bit of tweaking with Photoshop's Filter Gallery improved (?) a muddy iPhone photo taken on a rainy evening, giving the figures a Lowryesque quality.

Since Sunday is Valentine's Day, this week at FeatheryFriday the theme is "SWEETHEARTS!"

I want to see a bird with his/her sweetheart!

Examples: A bird with his/her mate, their babies, human best friend, or even their favorite toy! And if you are feeling up to it, you can even add some fun stuff with Picnik!

This awesome 52 acre urban retreat was founded in 1910. It is one of my favorite places when I need to escape and recharge.

So, I bought the Catcycle set and I love it. I loved the little mailbox but thought it would look better with a little mail symbol on the side, and since I don't want to use decals I figured it out. The parts used do exist and are not recolored in digital designer, I did use digital designer-(probably makes me look like a newb)-though because I have a crappy camera and don't own the two 2x bricks with the technic pin hole. It is minifig scale.

I removed the plate with the bar and put a brick with a stud on the side in place of the cylinder from earlier so that the 2x2 dish could sit flush on the leg. I'm ambivalent to this change. Also, a sword and shield were added. I'm into swords and shields lately.

Holy cow, this hair is nearly spot-on, as are the glasses and the freaking Blow Pop tee, which I actually have in real life. This is all getting just a little bit creepy, methinks.
