Scrambled Television Screen ca. 2000

Yes..too many problems I know ..sorry about that ,but I love the atmosphere in this composition:)

Handwritten note on the other side of this snapshot: "First set we had."

A photo of an early RCA Victor television set, possibly a 9-T-246 model with a ten-inch screen from the late 1940s or early 1950s. Compare this with the RCA 9T246 on the Early Television Museum's site.

For another early TV, see Philco Television Set, 1948.

I snapped this photo with my Kodak Z710 at the Drummond Ranch near Pawhuska, OK. The ranch is home to Food Network host Ree Drummond. The Pioneer Woman tv show is filmed at this location.

Finally, it has happened! I got to sit in Captain Kirk's chair on the USS Enterprise!

When I found out there was a set tour of the Star Trek Original Series nearby, I just had to visit! What an amazing experience. The layout and set was an accurate reproduction of the one back in the 60s. It was awesome. The best part of all was sitting in the captain's seat! Just to think that the man himself William Shatner was sitting in this very seat a few months ago makes it even cooler.

"You start to play it ... and it's like somebody's nightmare. Then suddenly, this woman comes on. Smiling at you, right ? Seeing you ... through the screen. Then when it's over, your phone rings. Someone knows you watched it. And what they say is, "You will die in seven days". And exactly seven days later ..."

A brunette lady in a checkered blouse and dark Capri pants posing next to a television set in an interior of a 1950s American home. A starburst clock, a flokati rug, two small vases, and a figurine of a girl holding a telephone receiver can also be seen in the photo. The print is dated "JUN 59".

Country of origin: USA

An undated snapshot of a man trying to adjust a rabbit ear TV antenna to get better reception on his television set. Or maybe he was just goofing around.

I think this was from inside the school (it's in the place where all the gas masks have been dumped - we were advised that the gas masks were brought and left by visitors in recent years and weren't there originally). These TV remnants had clearly been positioned here by some other photographer, so it's an entirely "borrowed" composition. I'd originally intended to focus stack, but decided I preferred just having the TV in focus. I wish I'd lined up the shot more carefully, c'est la vie!

"You don't want to hurt anyone."

"But I do, and I'm sorry. It won't stop."

'Living-teapot' On Black From the top of the tvset I see the living room through the teapot under the guide of Escher. Da sopra la televisione vedo il soggiorno attraverso la teiera sotto la guida di Escher.

My most public FDT this year so far on one of the most famous streets in the country!

The handwritten note on the other side of this undated photo says, "Here's a picture of a good-looking couple. I've intended to send you one of these for so long -- yrs.! Love, Judy."

Not sure if anyone of you remember a really old PC game called "Mad TV" where you need to buy programmes and movies from the distributor and then schedule them to show at the right time. Your goal is to beat the other 2 TV companies with the best rating etc. I always ended up broke!

This shot was taken in Sham Shui Po, an area famous for selling cheap computer hardware and softwares as well as other new or used electronic parts. This man was standing in front of a TV repairing shop and he was watching TV with 5 other guys with all 12 TV sets showing the same programme. They were totally into whatever it was showing on the TV and were completely unaware of my presence.

Minimal post processing. The lights all came from the TV.

Here's something slightly less vibrant than yesterday's photo.

Available light only. 8-second exposure.

Please view it in full screen.

The lonely life of old tv set. Something went wrong with my Hasselblad, you can see this bright white spot on the left side of frame. Anyway i like this picture. I found this strange building on the Volga river bank when we went to Cheboksary city last weekend for our friend birthday party.

…is the fear of being at the center of attention. Intense or not, this fear lives in each of us.

Actually this picture was an outtake :) I’m still not sure about the one above. It is not what I had in mind in the very beginning and it may look weird as part of the Phobia Series which was supposed to be dark-mooded… but let it be as it stands.

Bigger!

Two drawer wood chest from Jo-Anne's or Michael's.

Stain the wood with black or brown Sharpie.

Legs are round dowel, one inch long.

Cross stitch Aida cloth for speaker cover.

Screen is an image found on Pinterest.

Control knobs are beads and scrapbook stickers stuck to balsa wood.

These cabins may be painted blue now, but fans of LOST will remember them as the yellow DHARMA barracks. Walking through here feels like stepping onto the set — the picnic tables, the mountain backdrop, and the cabins themselves all bring back memories of some of the show’s most unforgettable scenes. Time has changed the colors, but for fans, the spirit of the DHARMA Initiative still lingers in the quiet corners of this place.

In this photo dated "Jan. 70," a young boy is wearing a cowboy hat and holster as he rides "Marvel the Mustang," a Marx toy advertised as "The Real Galloping Horse" (see Marvel the Galloping Mustang on the Virtual Marx Museum for more information).

Notice the TV set with rabbit-ears antenna on the left, the decorated Christmas tree behind the boy, and the boxes stacked on the chair on the right. The boxes include one for a Tonka toy car carrier and another for a "Reflection 3 Pc. Chip 'n' Dip Set."

This Lundby dolls house doll from the 70s shows some Fernseher = TV sets I use for my Lundby dolls houses, size 1:18. The most are original from Lundby and one is LISA. The green one was a pencil sharpener, but the size was perfect :) ! The red one is a so called "Gucki" - You can look through a little window on the back and see some nice pictures of the german "Black Forest".

This is a photo of a Philco 48-1001 television set, which was manufactured in 1948 and had a 10-inch television screen. I bought this along with a second photo showing 1948 Republican presidential nominee Thomas Dewey and his wife at the Republican National Convention, which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in June 1948. The image of Dewey and his wife is actually a photo of the screen of this TV set taken during the broadcast of the Republican convention, which was the first nationally televised presidential convention. See also a cropped version of the second photo.

Woman in red slacks. Photo probably taken at her parents' home because the furniture and drapes appear to be from before 1960. Photo found on eBay.

The woman on the sofa is holding a glass in her hand, and there's a second glass on the tray that's on the coffee table. A small basket on the tray probably contained snacks of some sort.

Wallpaper with a distinctive design surrounds the television in the corner.
