Great Budworth is a village and civil parish in Cheshire, England, four miles (6.4 km) north of Northwich off the A559 road, east of Comberbach, northwest of Higher Marston and southeast of Budworth Heath. Until 1948, Great Budworth was part of the Arley Hall estate.
it is full of beautiful Georgian and Victorian properties. No surprise that it is a favourite location for film crews. The High Street and the Church feature in the 2019 BBC adaption of H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds.

Hello flickr friends. I just got back from a wonderful anniversary beach vacation. Of course it wasn't without a photography project. I have had this idea in my head for quite some time. The challenge was finding just the right tv, then someone to gut it (thanks Dad!) and then lugging it to the coast (thanks Husband!). This is the start of a new series. Tune in....

The Lenbachhaus was built as a Florentine-style villa for the painter Franz von Lenbach between 1887 and 1891 by Gabriel von Seidl and was expanded 1927-1929 by Hans Grässel and again 1969-1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. Some of the rooms have kept their original design.
The city of Munich acquired the building in 1924 and opened a museum there in 1929. The Lenbachhaus was expanded between 1927 and 1929 by Hans Grässel and again between 1969 and 1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. The latest wing was closed to the public in 2009 to allow the expansion and restoration of the Lenbachhaus by Norman Foster; the 1972 extension was demolished to make way for the new building. The museum reopened in May 2013. The architect placed the new main entrance on Museumsplatz in front of the Propylaea. The new facade, clad in metal tubes made of an alloy of copper and aluminum, will weather with time.[
Number 10 Thompson Street, Williamstown, Victoria may look familiar to Aussies - that's because it's the very building used in the award-winning, long-running police drama series, Blue Heelers.
I'm a huge fan of the show and was ecstatic to finally find this building which I've been searching for since I became a fan of the show.
Blue Heelers aired on the Seven Network from 1994-2005 and ran for 510 episodes. It was set in the country town of Mount Thomas, population around 10,000, and had its own police station near the Imperial Hotel, the famous pub. The real Imperial Hotel is actually in Castlemaine (56 Lyttleton Street, if you wanted to check it out!), but if you're in Melbourne you can easily take a 10 minute drive to beautiful Williamstown, Victoria's oldest suburb.
I was in Williamstown recently, and after a thorough search (and some help from some friendly Williamstown police officers) I found the very building. It hasn't changed much from when it was used in Blue Heelers, with the only noticeable differences being that the veranda is now made of wood, rather than the old concrete; and the fence posts and gate have been painted white instead of bare metal. And, of course, the 'Police' sign is missing from the front!
"I can't imagine being stuck down a well all alone like that. How long could you survive ?"
