Thank you, Xander Perrott, for allowing me to demonstrate your beautiful design!
Hey starting OOBers I have been asked several times to provide some details on how I do my page curling...so I put together some quick screen caps of my basic steps. First let me say this tutorial requires Photoshop CS2 since the warp tool is used. Also it is assumed that you have a basic understanding of PS. I would also highly recommend that you get my first tutorials and do them first before using this one since I reference them several times. Here is the link to those tutorials :

A brief tutorial on how to do color development with a JOBO ATL-1500 processor:
1. mix the chemicals by the manufacturers instructions. i store my mixed chemicals either in PET-bottles or in Hama-bellow-bottles. I try to not store any mixed chemicals for any long period of time (max; 2-3 weeks), since they will go bad pretty quckly (which I've learned the hard way). This is even more true if you re-use chemicals.
2. Fire up the JOBO and attach it to you water supply. The first thing I always do is to run a full clean 1-6 program to get water running through the whole system. This is also a good time to start get the rinse water temperature to a correct 38 degrees C. I usually think it is enough when I get it above 37.5 and it doesn't go over 38.5. So the +- 0.5 range will do. At least for me.
3. Fill the bottles in the JOBO with your chemicals. I use a measuring glass to get the correct amount when I run E6. More to that later.
4. Verify that the program is correctly setup.
5. Just insert the loaded drum into the machine. Start the machine. Close the lid. Wait for it to finish. At least if you're running single-use chemicals.
6. When done, I open up the drum and remove the film from the reel. I try to run the final rinse in a separate container, to not get any stab chemicals on my reels.
I leave the chemicals in the stab for at least a minute. Sometimes longer. Not sure if it is good or bad :)
Then I simply hang the film try dry. Either in my drying cabin (for C41) or just in plain air (E6).
If I use the drying cabin I normally set a timer for 20 minutes when I start it and when it fires I go to check and see if the film is dry. If you leave it too long it will curl like crazy.
Tetenal C41:
The tetenal chemicals can be reused and you will still get decent results.
I normally mix up 1L chemicals and store them in bottles (PET normally, so I can squize out air). When it is time to do some development I start the JOBO, run a clean program, make sure the water temperature is correct, and then start to pour chemicals into the bottles. I normally fill them with something like 500ml.
Here's when it gets a bit tricky: to re-use the chemicals you need to gather them in a small container. Plus you do not want to get any cross-contamination between the chemicals.
I got the following at hand: containers for the used chemicals and a jug of water. When the program starts I set one of the containers under the hose of the chemical outlet. Once the processor pours out the chemicals I'm quick to tap the hose a bit (to get those few extra drops out) and the remove the container. Before I put the new container in place, I pour a bit of water on the hose. I also try to get some water _inside_ of the hose. This way I get rid of most of the chemicals. I wait until it's something like 30 seconds left until it will spit out the next batch of chemicals, I then put the new container in place. This way I know I've gotten as little developer as possible in the blix.
When I'm done I pour back the used chemicals into the 1L bottles.
Recently I've started to use a simple stop bath to even save more of the blix. I use this as a single-use chemical.
Tetenal E6:
I've found that these are easier to re-use than the C41 chemicals. I just mix up 0.5L and then gather it after each run and re-use them a few times, until I feel it is probably best to mix a new batch.
I use no stop bath of anything.
I've never failed a single roll using Tetenal's E6 kit. But I've lost quite a few C41 rolls :/ Mostly because of exhausted chemicals and the lack of stop-bath.
Kodak E6:
I use these as single-use chemicals (as they are intended to be). It's quite straight forward, except that it is a PITA to mix six baths.
I normally mix 1L at a time and try to use it over the next weeks.
I use 250ml for two rolls of 135 or 120. I also use 250ml for a sheet of 8x10".
My plan is to try if I get just use 125ml for a single sheet of 8x10". That would save me a lot of chemicals.

I was offered the opportunity to write a tutorial for Advanced Photoshop magazine back in January... at last it's been published.
The tutorial uses my WLTB™ urban flat shot to educate and inspire fellow Photoshop users into generating their very own architectural abstract images.
It's quite complicated... so don't say I didn't warn you :-)

Short video tutorial on how to make a 7 wrap thread crochet bullion stitch.
I find that three things help me in making bullion stitches:
#1: I make sure the wraps are evenly side by side against my crochet hook, snuggled together.
#2: When I yarn over, I yarn over at least 1/2 inch away from the wraps and then I pull the thread through the wraps. (the extra thread that you skip winds up in the middle of the bullion stitch)
#3: I hold the wraps gently but firmly in place with my left hand as I pull the thread and crochet hook through the middle of the bullion stitch.

For those interested in how I work, here's a tutorial or run through of my last picture, "Another Century Episode (Team B)".
PART A
1. Background
My white posterboards were too small to use, so I opted for my livingroom wall. It has a slight yellow tint and texture. The texture is smoothed out in photoshop by selecting areas with lasso - copy - paste - gaussian blur. Selecting areas too close to the figures (4) result in overlay when blur is applied. Erase the overlaid areas.
Tip:Sometimes it's not so bad because it kinda creates haze which may work depending on conditions such as: objects in far distance, weather/atmospheric effects like dust, fog, or smog, or adding to the illusion of largeness of a toy robot.
2. Lights
The 3 bulb lamp 2a is mainly used for warm lighting. It's placement dictates what kind of sky background image I'll use. Since it's low relative to the scene, it's going to be a sunset, thus I look for sunset images.
I used 2b along with a white cardboard (to reflect 2b's light) to light up the area on the wall close to 2a that was poorly initially lit.
2c is supplementary lighting so the background (1) area on the left won't be too dark. I also use this light source for scenes that require cooler lighting or even afternoon sun light.
3. Foreground/ground
This item as foam recolored mountain which I use for a lot of my pics.
4. Figures
I took several pics of the figures in order to 1. make it easier to digitally erase the stands, and 2. change up the dof in case I want certain characters with more focus. The images are later evaluated and spliced together in photoshop. Erasing unwanted areas is no hassle.
eg. Xan's (mid character who is jumping) stand blocks out the figure to its right, Laevatein (see 4). I simply copy Xan, then paste in a layer over a picture that was taken without Xan. After that clean up and make sure no unwanted part is in the copy/paste Xan.
5. Stand
I highly recommend a stand. I still move it all around to get tilted shots. Tip: set iso to 100, control your breathing so you won't have shaky hands, and if not.. shoot with the timer.
PART B
Digital
A. Background: Used a sunset image.
1. Placed in layer over original picture, and
2. set layer property to overlay.
3. Adjusted lightness/darkness and saturation to increase vibrancy lost when layer property was changed from normal to overlay.
4. Erased overlapping sky background imagery. Tip:Sometimes it's ok to lightly erase overlap, leaving some to create illusion of reflection.
B. Figures
Created a seperate layer set on 'screen' and airbrushed lit up eyes, and Laevatein's hair. Added another screen layer and went over airbrushed eyes and hair and added blur for glowing effect (then lowered opacity a bit).
In another screen layer I created a colored circle, erased middle leaving a doughnut, multipied layer for further manipulation, and used distortion tool to angle fittingly around Xan.
Used doughnut: Erased unwanted overlapping areas, set slight gaussian blur, multiplied tilted circle layer - set property to screen- added more blurr for glowing effect - set layer opacity down.
Did the same technique for power doughnut behind Xan using a copy of the original doughnut layer, but I changed up it's color patter a bit.
C. Len's flare
Set origin from the right, just off the screen. Selected percentage I thought would be a sufficient amount.
D. Extra
Sharpened a few areas, mostly on Xan's torso, and added dust under Eva 02.
This is the actual photo I took without any processing at all. The shot was taken near Thornley woodlands center in a bird hide. This cheeky fox was digging for something. When he heard my mirror slapping on the camera he looked up and I got a nice moment of him looking straight at me! Shot was taken using a Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX lens with a 2x teleconverter making 600mm focal length (and it still wasnt enough!).

My last seagull pic prompted a few questions about textures and which ones I'm using, so I thought I'd post another shot of my "kitchen."
You can see that I'm actually using three textures, and two to three layers of each, which I've blended in and out using masks and various overlay modes.
The post processing on this one got pretty extensive - about 24 layers (including 8 texture layers, 3 high-pass layers, and 9 adjustment layers). Fun!! :)
