(This tutorial was greatly inspired by Sandra's tutorial posted here and on her lovely blog bonequea.com. Go check it out, if you haven't already seen it : )!)
Taking this tutorial for a ride. I did make a couple of changes. I used "color dodge" instead of "overlay" and erased at varying opacity levels.
*tada* I finally made it: my first tutorial with over 220 single pictures for step-by-step instructions to creat this polymer bride & groom! The german online shop www.torten-kram.de is selling it:
für die deutsche Version www.torten-kram.de/index.html?d_AL5_Brautpaar_PDF_Anleitu... and
If you prefer to buy the english version, follow this link: www.sugardreams.de and choose the english site - there you can easily buy direct with Paypal and all instructions are in english!
If you don´t want to do it in polymer, it can easily be made from gumpaste as well ;)
For the interested who did not see the first five pictures of this serie:
This is my first visual tutorial about consciousness and awareness.
It is very easy because the pictures will speak for themselves.
Without words you will understand, what it all means.
Maybe you discover something very important for yourself... :-)))
If you like, ask yourself what you see and how you see.
This ist he last picture of the serie.

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.

Hi there! I was trying to come up with ways to use up my scraps of clay and veneers. I made some very cute and simple earrings with my Sculpey Cabochon mold! Just wanted to share with you all. If you would like to keep up with my work you can follow my blog on www.charlestonclayjewelry.com
Blending Tutorial
This is probably the most extensive blending/colour matching I’ve done and took a while to get it right. The main problem was that the AUG and F2K lowers that I wanted to blend together had different shades, despite being the same colour code. This meant using a hex code generator to find a code that would match the two. I use this: www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp
Fig.1: In the complete design, the green colour code I wanted for the lower half was 55564c – this matched the AUG lower (coded at 55564c) and the F2K. The F2K however had to be coloured at 5e6054 because of the shading on the preset part. This allows the lighter parts of the F2K lower to match the AUG.
Fig.2: Find points on both lowers that match, making it easier to blend – the two magwells in this case line up perfectly.
Fig.3: You can see how little is left of the F2K lower after matching it to the AUG and adding solid shapes at 55564C. Half shaded squares are used to blend the shaded parts of the AUG and F2K grips into one, rotating these as required to match at an appropriate scale. Unwanted areas are deleted with white shapes – always remember to outline.

I was offered the opportunity to write a tutorial for Advanced Photoshop magazine back in January... at last it's been published.
The tutorial uses my WLTB™ urban flat shot to educate and inspire fellow Photoshop users into generating their very own architectural abstract images.
It's quite complicated... so don't say I didn't warn you :-)
ON SALE NOW :-D
Open a photograph in photoshop and then.......
1) Duplicate the layer, for windows users, Ctrl J
2) Click on the new top layer. Change the layer blending mode to "color dodge".
3) Continuing to work with the top layer, select inverse, Ctrl I
4) DON'T be alarmed as the image will disappear (if not all, most of it)
5) Continuing to work with the same top layer, in your menu choose filter, blur, gaussian blur and set to approx 16.0 Choose high and low numbers so you can see the effect and choose what looks good to you.
6) you are done!!
If you want to make the lines and/or the image a little darker continue with this step.
1) Merge your two layers together. Duplicate the layer and with the top layer chosen change the layer blending to "multiply" and that will darken your creation.
Have fun and let me know if this has helped you.
Swimsuit for my daughter. Part of my commitment to buy USA-made or make it myself to avoid supporting sweatshops and child labor abuses. It's the first time I've ever made a swimsuit, and I'm happy that it fits her so well -- much better than any of her store-bought swimsuits ever have.

This is an add for tutorial in photoshop support group about creating cool borders. LARGE IN SEPARATE WINDOW
The point is here, is the use of odd shaped brushes, you don't have to use brush 44, there are several sets that come with PS and many you can download. You can also draw a shape, select it, and define the brush youself.
Also DON'T FORGET TO DESELECT AFTER FILLING THE RECTANGLE WITH BLACK!!!!
