I've always liked turtles. We used to catch the babies and raise them at home. So much fun to feed them flies. Watch their mouths go back and forth while the fly slowly got mangled, then swallowed.

I found this turtle on a beach in Visakhapatnam. This poor creature has lived around 35 to 40 long years to reach its adulthood and be able to lay eggs. And made it to this beach after crossing many oceans only to meet its fateful end before its eggs could see life on this plannet. According to a media report, "the turtles get entangled in fishing trawlers and gill nets and the fishermen kill them with hammer blows to keep their costly nylon nets intact."
