A Little Ringed Plover (Charadrius dubius) was caught in perfect turning position with tilting wings. It was very agile to frame and very unpredictable in changing directions. However I managed to frame some shots from distance with stylist outcomes. Love this species for its beauty and actions. Pics was taken from the riverside of Damodar, Burdwan, West Bengal, India.

Our Daily Challenge - On the Table
So I've been approached to take some photo's for an advertising agency.
This one was taken for a billboard of the restaurant which ties in so nicely with yesterday's challenge - also the real 199/366
A color version from this spot. Careful balancing required because it's about a nine-foot drop down to the bottom of the circular pit the track turntable sets into.
Back to RIAT 2018, and the Ukrainian Sukhoi SU-27 turns hard in front of the FRIAT stand, burners blazing.
If only I could have captured the sound and visceral feeling of power!
With its train safely stashed between the two legs of the why, PM 1225 slowly creeps out of the east leg of the wye in Cadillac as one of the conductors stands guard at the switch. This wye is very light rail and listening to it creep and pop as the berk creeps around it is a interesting sound and feeling.

HSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet) with 54 stories.

-->> Representing another interesting turning point in the 2003 series as the actually, somewhat short-lived, "futuristic" and lighter TMNT: FAST FORWARD line marked the start of a shift in the Toys and animated worlds of the Turtles. All of this was both praised and shunned by many fans of the show. Cut off by the TMNT 2007 film toy line, a whole wave of unreleased characters and fun Turtle variants never made it past TOY FAIR.
Another "alright" reproduction - this one was kind of hard to remove from the base. But it may have just been mine. Small paint apps are missing such as below the knee. Leo's futuristic katanas were partly made of a translucent blue plastic with a painted metallic handle ( representing the lazer-like, lightsabre-ish weapons of the show ). Here they are cast in solid silver. The scabbard on his back is completely blue, the original's scabbard is silver-metallic. While it may just be MY particular figure, it does appear that the head on my repro FF Leo is just a tad off-mold. ~ t

One should think this is a sunset over the Oslo fjord. But on the shortest day of the year, this is just about all we get to see of the sun :) I was at home preparing for Christmas, when I saw these fine clouds. So I strapped Ludo (my Alaskan Husky) to my bike and went out to Huk on Bygdøy, a small peninsula on the western side of Oslo. This is my favorite place in Oslo at winter time, when there is almost no people :)

- 1/8000, 1/2000, 1/500, 1/125, 1/30 sec at f/16 ISO100 10mm (35mm eq: 16mm)
I tried my Cokin ND8 grad filter on this shot. But didn't do much for me :( Guess there is no point in using that when I think in HDR :)
Post Processing:
I turned the temperature up a little bit from 4700K to 6250K in the individual RAW images, giving the scene a warmer tone.
HDR & Tone Mapping done in Photomatix.
Noise reduction has been applied to get rid of the noise in the sky from the HDR process. A little cloning to fix some lens flares.
